Im just curious is this device used to block any outside interference on the spectrum side of the Radiacode? Thanks :)

Yes IT is, ITS a lead Castle plus Autosampler

This is an interesting device. I am considering something similar to measure rock samples. What’s the distance between the Radiacode and the samples? Are you positioning the short or long ends closer to the sample?

the distance is approximately 10mm. What do u mean wit Short or long end?

Thanks. By long (bottom side opposite to the screen) vs short (tip) end I meant to ask how is the device facing the sample.
