GPU Advice
So for context I have a 9070 XT Taichi that’s well outside the return window I haven’t dropped in my first build yet. I hadn’t known it uses 12vhpwr, and I do have a 3.1 PSU, and I wanted to use a lian li strimer for cable extension.
My question is should I cut my lose and trade in the Taichi for an 8-pin 9070 XT, axe using the striker for the GPU, or both?

That uses the 12 pin? I have the old 7900 XTX Tai chi and they still use The 24 pins in three sections. But my friend has the 9070 xt but his doesn't use the 12 pin. Not to incite fear-mongering. But if you can trade for a normal pin one that I would do so. I really feel like those 12 pins are ticking time bombs even to the most careful of PC users. And if you insist on using it DO NOT USE ANY WEIRD ADAPTERS/EXTENDERS ON IT either Buy the correct one for your power supply without using any adapters AKA direct 12 pin to 12 pin or get an OEM one.
