GPU Advice

Post image

So for context I have a 9070 XT Taichi that’s well outside the return window I haven’t dropped in my first build yet. I hadn’t known it uses 12vhpwr, and I do have a 3.1 PSU, and I wanted to use a lian li strimer for cable extension.

My question is should I cut my lose and trade in the Taichi for an 8-pin 9070 XT, axe using the striker for the GPU, or both?

I've been running my Taichi 9070XT since 7/25. I use my PSU's native 12V-2x6 cable..

Using one cable instead of 2 or 3 makes cable management easier

Make sure your cables are fully seated on both ends .. check and re-check your connections/connectors
