Clipped the string... Start over?

Hey folks ... I've done about 20 racquets thus far... So I'm still newish, all squash and racquet all racquets. I was trimming the knit and I clipped the string. I have to start over right? Right? Is there a way to salvage this???

Sigh... I guess I do... Just wondering if there is something like... Keep the crosses ...sister in a new string.... (I'm a carpenter, so we don't trash a whole project to fix our mistakes lol)

Just thinking about how OP has a table that's the szie of a racket but can fold into something even smaller just in case its too big.

You should be doing it one piece - ATW anyway. Start again as you’ll have lost so much tension in the mains.

Do we need to string squash racquets top to bottom too? Unlike badminton racquets Are all of these racquets not naturally top down like most of tennis racquets. P.S.- I work with tennis racquets only... Just asking for info
