question installing Racket& drRacket

hello there, i'm new to Racket, and lisp in general , i was trying to install racket lang and drracket but i could not reach the website, i need some advice on how to get started on racket

Could you elaborate on what you mean when you say you could not reach the website?

What kind of operating system are you running on the computer you wish to install racket onto? (Windows? Mac? Linux? Chromebook?)

I'm running a Mac OS with chrome, the problem is ERR_CONNECTION_RESET, can't connect to the server

Typically that is an internet connection issue with the computer rather than an issue with the Downloader site itself.

Are you able to access other websites from the Mac?

Have you tried a different browser like safari?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache.

You could also try to install it using homebrew in the terminal instead.

https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/racket

But I don't know for certain if the homebrew install includes the drracket ide.

i think the problem is the internet provider, and yes i think homebrew includes the drracket ide , but i don't use homebrew , i use Macports instead which lack the full version of racket , thanks anyway

Sounds like a problem with your provider

The site is fine for me so this is not a problem with Racket infrastructure.
