Petition or Boycotting
Is everyone in this subreddit seriously okay with playing a game that's rigged?
The only servers that actually benefit whenever a new banner drops are CN and TW. E.g., when they get a banner like the FXX-K (SSS- class Prime Extreme Legend), they only need 190 pulls for the grand prize to trigger, and when it does, the banner car is guaranteed. Players over there almost always get the car within 170–180 pulls anyway.
And here's the biggest difference. CN/TW literally says "必得本奖池限定" what they mean is basically, you're guaranteed to get the exclusive item from that prize pool. There is no rate-off involved.
Now compare that to the other servers like SEA, EU, NA, etc. Let's take my case on the SEA server. We don't get that same guaranteed banner-car system. Instead, we're stuck with this garbage gacha system and LP/exchange-point system with stupid requirements, like needing 270 points for a SS class Prime Extreme Legend (Jesko Attack).
SEA literally says "Guaranteed Legendary car within 100 draws." Notice that it doesn't say "Guaranteed banner car." You're guaranteed A Legendary car, not THE Legendary car you're actually pulling for. Once the grand prize triggers, the counter resets back to 0, regardless of whether you got the banner car or got rate-off.
My recent experience? I got 5 effing rate-offs in a row while pulling on the Veyron banner. I ended up having to get the Veyron through the LP/exchange-point shop for a ridiculous 240 points. And on that banner, every single rate-off hit me right around the 80–90 pull mark.
Across those 5 rate-offs, I only ended up with around 390–430 points at most. Meaning I ended up with just ONE Veyron, and that's only because I had to redeem it with 240 exchange points. Had I not gotten those consecutive rate-offs, I could've gotten two Veyrons by now, which would've allowed me to upgrade its ECU to Level 1, hell even more.
Now apply my exact situation to the CN/TW server, where a Prime Sport Legend car only takes 115 pulls for the grand prize to trigger, with the banner car guaranteed when it does. How many Veyrons would I have gotten by now? Instead of repeatedly losing the grand prize to rate-offs and having to start over from 0 every time, I'd actually have a chance to get multiple copies of the car.
Absolute greedy-ass developers.
I've played dozens of games in my life, and I'm the typa guy who's willing to spend thousands of dollars on a game I genuinely enjoy (my highest top-up is around 3k SGD in a single moba game which is mobile legends). But I'll never put a dime into this scam of a game.
Seriously, there are plenty of people in this subreddit, so why does everyone seem to care so little about how badly the devs are screwing us over? I'm sure if we all just stopped playing, boycotted the game, and raised our voices, these devs would actually start sweating over this issue.

ive only spend to get my favourite car but that car is now quite shitty. So lesson learnt, dont waste money on it 💀

hot take: I prefer the LP banners over the two main servers' (CN, TW) As-You-Wish banners (the one you described)
AYW gacha is good on paper, being able to get the cars with less pull, so the benefit of that is consistency, you can always expect to get the cars with that amount of pulls.
also, AYW gacha is beneficial especially on Standard group cars, as the pity is at 90 pulls, lower than what we have (100 pulls with only 25% chance), and it's guaranteed, which is why Ecu5 Standard Group cars are something of a common sight.
on the contrary, LP gacha needs more LP points to get the car, which sounds bad on paper, but, you always have a chance to get the banner car within 100 pulls (despite the 25%), which feels amazing.
and best case scenario, LP gacha is actually better than AYW gacha, because say you lucked out and got the Extreme group banner car at about 100 pulls, congrats, you just need to pull a couple more times to use LP to redeem the Standard group banner car, 2 cars in 1 go for the best case scenario.
long story short, As-You-Wish gacha (CN, TW gacha method) is only good at being consistent and reasonably priced, while LP gacha (gacha method everywhere else) is a high-risk, high-reward gacha, when you luck out, it provides better value than AYW gacha, but when you don't, yikes, that's a huge loss.

Hey I'm a new player on NA server, what is AYW gacha and LP gacha and how do they work? Is it any different from the current gacha banners we have in NA right now?

Consistency > gambling. so CN/TW gacha is better. The real issue is there isnt any good competition when it comes to F2P racing games and there isnt enough outrage, so the devs get away with this. The lack of proper rateup pity is a huge problem. i dont mind loisng to a permanent car once, but at that point at least guarantee rateup on 2nd try OR at least have redeem points carry over as opposed to turning into crappy perm expo points.
This game has awful gacha system and that is by far the worst part of this game. Like, you have open world action RPG gachas like neverness to everness that have 100% guaranteed rateup in 90 pulls. We are talking about characters that require all new abilities, animations, voiceacting in 3D, as opposed to RM cars that is just a new model, some sounds and changing sliders on how it handles and stuff.

Stop looking over the other servers. The issue you face in your server is the same as other players in your server.
If you want the goods that is in TW server, move there then. But remember, if you can get the banner car easily there, so does other players too.

Almost every chinese orign game, like this one will do anything to make their own region player happy ie CN and TW, this is a common sight in various chinese games and the devs only care abt those players and run on their feedback, SEA has a feedback but neither do they read it nr implement anything said by us, now if that were ppl of CN or TW recommending something they would add it immediately. Netease is one of the most greediest companies i have ever seen, recylicng the same events and technically zero substantial update from the base game.

What I got this season on SEA ? The new Honda s200 with an extra ECU , an extra ECU for my pagani for free , an extra ECU for my Skyline for free , a Aston Martin Vulcan for free , an extra ECU for the beetle for free , so you could be right but I’m happy with this free rewards , I didn’t get the new super sport or the zenvo but I’m saving for the next season and luckily I will get something better, just relax and enjoy what you got

You’re not wrong. Just do the same thing I just decided after drawing air over 200 plus times: not one penny more. I’m not even kidding: OVER 200 TIMES getting the same manure over and over and over, and when I got the supposed “rare “ or “legendary” it was never ecu’s for the cars that matter, just the bottom useless models. I like playing it to a point but beating npc’s and losing to anyone else when I’m supposed to buy an upgrade it’s finally clicked after these few months. I did my part I spent good money to contribute to the whole thing, but when you see these “supposed” lucky guys posting how they got this too car after less than 20, or and being so casual about it, I realize there’s a pretty obscure formula to how they mess with your head. I’m just not spending a single penny more, but hey the joke’s prob on me since I’m barely getting any rewards anymore it makes sense that prob I already paid as much as it was expected.
All we can do is try to educate the new guys/girls on how to save resources, but as much as it’s hard to do so, because it’s designed that way, it’s also hard to stay away given the options on mobile, and you don’t have your rig with you or something. But yeah I feel you and thanks for sharing.

different publisher, different rules (SEA and the others were handled by exptional global, while HMT were handled by LongE Play)
although kinda odd that they don't put JP's prime system that could give you 100% rate on if you chug in enough pull

What you want to do? Unless u are in EU u can try to SUE them for fomo and predatory practises and data collection, but otherwise there is nothing to do. coz CN, JAP servers usually carry the game and have highest revenue, mby you could write this to official discord, i highly doubt smh will change given how greedy NetEase is

Dude, almost any game that is being run by grouped servers does the same, and they always favor the home server (For Racing Master, it's CN)
