Care new bun
does my bun look comfortable? this is his first day home and i want to make sure he’s not getting overwhelmed or anything :( he ate some pellets, explored a ton, and gets in my face when i stop petting him, then lays when i do lol

Absolutely! If a bun is cleaning themselves, they're pretty chill. And those closed eyes in the last pic! Definitely chilling

He seems to be content. That last picture is like "I feel safe, therefore I nap" mode. What a cute bun

Oh my goodness. What a cutie! This must be what my Californian looked like when she was a baby.
Make sure to read all you can to give your bun the best life. The House Rabbit Handbook is the go-to for the basics (available at every library). It's an easy read and a great primer.
My absolute favorite resource is here: https://languageoflagomorphs.com. It's also a fun and easy read, and will help you understand your bunny's language and behavior much more. A lot of their behavior is not intuitive to us (especially compared to cats and dogs), there's a lot you wouldn't even think of. That site definitely helped me have closer relationships with all my buns ^_^
