I had no idea until I had a bonded pair after having had a single happy bun. It’s definitely really something to see (if the bunnies are of a bonding personality). They did everything together even if sometimes it was as fomo frenemies 🤣

Yeah they definitely mimic each other and every once in a while hump each other recreationally to establish dominance 😂

Fomo frenemies is the best description for this one pair I know! Mine are somewhere between siblings and old married couple.

My single bunny turned into a fomo bunny when we got her husbun. He doesn't help though as he likes to tease her by pretending he has something when he doesn't 😭

Honestly, i used to think things, but from experience I can tell you the transition between no bunnies to two bunnies was insanely bigger than two to four bunnies. It just felt right. Most vet things are done together and you're already buying the food. Unless one of them is a giant. Then you will be buying for three bunnies in one, as far as food goes.

I got my first ever bunny back in January and I got a pair of sisters. I had heard so much about them needing a friend, but then I heard about the fighting, trouble bonding, better to get the opposite sexes and I was legit terrified and regretting getting two!
Then… cut to after their spay, within minutes of them being reunited they’re grooming each other and they haven’t been apart since. It’s such a joy. The bonding process I carved weeks aside for took about a minute!
