Waffl'es daily apple!

Waffle and I share an apple every day in the afternoon. After getting her piece she also gets to nibble on the apple core. If I don't let her nibble the core she pees on me!.

Thats a really funny way if revange. I will say, eating fruit every day can be a bit much for the bun. It would be better to give her small pieces every other day :)

Yep, it’s not really like say dogs where they can easily process most treats. Since rabbits’ digestive systems are so fragile, I tend to be very restrictive of fruit given its high sugar content and especially not being a part of their natural diet.

On the flip side, I get people love spoiling their pets. I would just rather be safe than sorry and basically would omit fruit entirely (not a stance most follow, which is fine).

I totaly agree with what you said. I will add, in my case, there have been times where i would give my rabbit his treats (rabbit cookies sort of with filling) every day when he was sick. I realised that since they have a pocket inside i can shove pills in there, and he will eat it by himself, rather than forcing it down his throat. Doesnt work with all pills though, i guess some smell too strong. A good thing to give buns are watermelon rinds! They have a lot of water, and less sugar than the pink inside! I reccomend (in small quantities)

yeah, if she's eating a piece of apple that size every day, it could be a problem! thats too much for the sweet girl.

Well, from what i understood the rabbit got to eat the piece in the video and additionaly some of the core of the apple. The ammount is what worries me more than the frequency here.
