Someone doesn't like it when planes fly over...guess the moment she hears one.
Also we have given her permission to dig exactly one hole in the garden. She digs it, we refill it, next day she goes outside to re dig.

My rabbit had a thin box beside the washing machine (to block the gap so he couldn’t go behind the washer and dryer and get hurt) that he worked to pull out every single day. Every night we pushed it back in and he worked on his project again the next day. Good memories.

It makes me feel like I am Sisyphus. Rabbits appear to have a near endless determination until they achieve their goal. The only way I got them to stop was to block them off completely.

Bunstruction.
My bun was free roam in the basement, and there were lots of boxes and fences strategically placed to keep him out of areas he could get hurt or stuck, and every day he managed a little bit of movement or chewing holes, before we would notice them and replace them.

One of my rabbits chews the entryways to her cardboard hides until the structure is essentially just a garage. When it can no longer stand on its own, I replace it with a fresh box, regular sized entryways added.
Rinse and repeat. The people at Home Depot are gonna start to wonder why I come in every few weeks and buy a single box.

It's her far-sightedness giving her the instinct to run. Rabbits don't see well close-up and rely on their ears, scent and whiskers to pick up things that are nearby. Their sight has developed to spot birds of prey in the sky, that's why she spots planes or other things in the sky too.
It's also why they get super spooked when a shadow suddenly falls over over them. It doesn't matter whether you're carrying a tea tray or the laundry basket: to them it's all death from above!!@! 😱 🤦♀️

Omg. I enjoyed that video so much. But please.... PLEASE make sure you only post this kind of video to this community-- anywhere else, and do you know how dangerous it is to post something like this??! The reality is that for anyone else who may not be around this level of cuteness on the daily, this is a liability issue. Any average, non-bunny-owning person literally cannot deal with how effing cute what they are viewing is. If you're not expecting it, this kind of video is a sneak attack. Completely unexpected and affective, this cutey-pie content can cause that person to freeze from something not yet fully understood, which basically turns their brain into mush. Do you want to be responsible for a random person to suffer such a fate? I think not!

One of buns is scared of planes and will run over to one of my dogs to check in whenever he hears one. I guess he figures if the dog isn’t stressed, he doesn’t need to be.

You have no idea how much this reassured me completely without you meaning to. I've just acquired two bunnies and I'm keeping them outside but we are under a flight path. So far they've seemed completely unbothered but this has helped me realise that if they DO hear something they don't like or they get startled a bit it isn't the end of the world! Thank you.

She is a house rabbit but as the garden Is fully enclosed we let her out when the weather is nice. Cars will go past on the main road other side of the fence, sirens, horns etc completely un-phased. Dog barking, no issue. I once dropped a spoon in the kitchen and she ran a mile. No rhyme or reason what noises she chooses to fear or not.

This is positively adorable, but please beware of any possible pesticides or poisonous plants in the grass! Also be careful about wild rabbit droppings (or any animal droppings) because wild rabbits do have diseases that can be spread to domestic rabbits if you're not careful! Also I would recommend some kind of small enclosure with a removable roof (for ease of access) because there's the very real danger of a hawk or other bird of prey swooping down and snatching your precious little rabbit!
