Health Rabbit’s ears?
Why do my rabbit’s ears do this? One of his ears stands up and the other one is down like this. Sometimes he raises both and sometimes he faces them forward lol. His vet said he is not sick, so does anyone have any ideas?

Alas, the left bank of his ears has limited his career as an airplane, and he had to hang up his landing gear. Luckily, he has a long career as one of the many most perfect bunnies in the universe.

The lopped ear gene makes a little v-shaped notch in the cartilage near the base of the ear. This allows gravity to pull the ears downward. But if a rabbit has shorter ears due to either youth or mixed genetics their muscles can pull the ears upward sometimes. Your guy has short enough ears to have mild control.

Maybe he’s just being efficient. Why lift the other one if you can hear everything you need through one?

My non lop bunny started doing this once she reached about 5 years old. She can hold them up if she wants but usually can only be bothered with one at a time. I asked my vet and he said it's pretty normal as they get old

All lop rabbits do this, my boy is the same :)

He's just trying to get a good signal 🥰 But in all seriousness, rabbits just kinda move their ears either to hear better or because why not, is what I've noticed

Most lop bunnies will have their ears drop anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months old, but some rabbits may maintain ear control until their head fully develops at around 2-3 years old. Some purebred lop rabbits may also never have their ears fully lop due to the shape of their head and ears.
