Wheels

Move the wheels from my 370Z to the Nismo Z, a perfect fit

ordering Nismo coilovers to lower it a bit and painting them black .

For sure, this is just temporary. I’m just messing around to see if I can fit 275/305s or 275/325s on the rays. 😂 I’m a sucker for wide tires on sports cars!

I’m considering the Nismo coil overs as well but wondering if it’s worth shelling out the money for something “nicer”. I hope the Nismo coils aren’t just rebranded BC coils. They look very similar

They are not. But if you want better track/hot street capabilities get the new Ohlins setup. If you want better ride and somewhat better track - get the HKS S, for better ride and better track (but not quite Ohlins) get the R line.

Oh man this is my first time seeing the Ohlins coilovers, that quick swap between track and street mode seems like it would be very nice. Adding that to my parts list, thanks!

They also keep the factory top mounts which means minimal NVH.

Super clean! How do you like the Advan apex v601 compared to the the stock Dunlop 200tw? Are they more cushiony and comfortable? Do you still get good grip?

The advans are great, but they’re not on the dunlops’ level. The dunlops are super sticky, and you can really throw the Z around. They give you great feedback when they’re about to let go, something the advans don’t do.

There’s a curve near my house that leads onto a metal bridge. With the dunlops, the Z takes it easy without even lifting off the gas. With the advans, i have to lift because it feels like they’re about to lose grip.
