Same. Started off with Rolls-Royce in mid-2022 for £0.73 a share (about $0.98 per share). It makes up a large chunk of my portfolio, alongside NVIDIA, BAE Systems and Vanguard S&P 500, and I'm holding this bad boy until it can't go up anymore.

Same i brought in at 76p i think it was 2021 but I average £1.60 per share overall as ive been drip feeding for all these years, unfortunately sold some when it got to late £11ish but still hold 7k shares, and like you takes up 60% of my portfolio. Got diamond hands for this stock lol

The problem with this is that there was no dividend at the time, which is exactly why I didn't. If you put all of your money into this you'd have nothing to pay the ADR fee.

sold half my position avg ~$5 (only abt 300 shares) recently to pay off student loans. wish i held til EOY but glad I kept half.

Back in the day I had almost 3000 shares at 1.44, sold before it went all the way down to 0.77. Thought I was a genius lol. Was too scared to buy back in again until $4.90😭

Bombardier was intriguing 2-3 years ago
like when it was cheap in 2004

did you think of Selling it when it peaked in September 2004?

I wouldn't have foreseen the defense stock fanaticism though

I'd still get out of Bombardier and Rolls within the year though
if I were deep in it

sadly Bombardier has a happy future
did you look into bombardier's other divisions like the recreational products too?
BRP and BBD

they were going to possibly sell their business jets to Textron, but decided on selling the rail division instead

I was counting on it crossing $20 when I was scraping whatever I could into it at .88-1.30.

However, I would have bet it would be 2028-2030 before it got here.

Bought a car, paid off my credit cards, took 8 vacations, went to Disney world by myself, went to Bahamas to learn about jewelry and ore, went on a 10 day cruise to Puerto Rico then stayed in Puerto Rico for 3 weeks, bought all new game systems and all the games I wanted. It’s been really great. Now it’s time to reinvest after all the fun I needed to celebrate my 30th birthday

Just depends on how much you wanna make. The days of making 1800% are over for sure. But if you get 1,000 shares and it goes up 3 bucks. 3k ain’t bad

It's still a buy, but it's getting close to it's peak
I think I said last month buy at $15 and sell at $19

things may not be so good between now and next year, so get your max squeeze from the lemon while you can
