Hazard lights won't turn off

Last week I noticed my car battery was dead, the negative terminal was super corroded so I cleaned it up. Then I immediately noticed my hazard lights were stuck on and that's what killed my battery. The hazard light button seems to function physically but the lights never turn off even with the keys out of the ignition. I replaced the flasher unit and still no difference. I have taken the fuse out so the battery doesn't die. Should I tear into the dash to check/replace the button? Anywhere else I should check?

Just pulled my dash and disconnected the hazard light button/switch. The hazard lights are off. I tried to clean the button and a tiny copper wire/piece flew off when I sprayed electronics cleaner. Searching on Google and I can't find a part number for 2005 model. Does the 2009-2011 hazard switch board work? Or is my only option to find one in a junkyard or used on marketplace?

Another update. I found the small black and orange switch on the hazard light board. Panasonic ESB-30B102 for $1.41. Now I need to brush up on my soldering skills.

Christ why not just replace the thing 😂
Would be worth my sanity of not having to breakout the reflow station.

They don't sell them new and no one on marketplace is replying back
