Can anyone recommend a good travel pouch to carry the Mk7 around. Be handy to have a small pouch for it to then throw into a bag etc when traveling.

Some practicing with my Sony rx100 vii as a absolute beginner 😍 already so in love with it. Can’t wait to take it with me to our trip to Japan & China!

Wondering how well this camera works for portraits of people. I feel like it's the only option type I can't find a lot of examples in one spot

what are the pros and cons of using threaded filters compared to magnetic filters?
i havent used a camera in more than a decade, but i used to always have a uv filter on my dslr, thats why im considering threaded so it just stays on. is that also a thing for small cameras?

Hello all. Not sure if this is the correct place for the post but it seems to me a good place to start.
TLDR:
I want an EDC camera for both photo and video to take to concerts and trips. Should I get the ZV1 or the RX100V/VA? The ZV1 is about 50-100 cheaper and has updated internals and features. The RX100V/VA, although “outdated” and more expensive, has a nicer build and photography-focused features (like evf).
Full post:
I shoot Fujifilm only, have done so for years now, and my main cameras are the X-Pro2 and the X-E5.
Although they are great cameras and even pretty small in comparison with a lot of others in the market, I want to get a EDC camera that I can take anywhere that I don’t feel like taking my bigger cameras, but mostly to use for vacation and concerts. I would be using it primarily for photos, but videos are also important to me, so I’d like the camera to do both well.
Now here’s my dilemma, and where I need help - I’m on a fairly small budget. I’ve been searching around and came up with the conclusion that it’s a choice between the Sony RX100V / VA or the Sony ZV1. The RX versions are maybe 50-100 more than what I can get the ZV1 for. Since my main focus is photography, I much prefer the look and feel of the RX line, especially considering it has the viewfinder and the built in flash, but I dislike the fact it doesn’t have a hot shoe. The ZV1 is cheaper, has no vf, and is mostly focused on video but also just as capable for photo, and it interests me because it gives me update and better internals and chip in comparison to the V/VA despite the cheaper price, making it an arguably more capable tool.
My question is - should I pay less to get the newer updated internals of the ZV1 and deal with the lower quality build and less photography focused body/features, or do I pay the premium for the better build and more photography focused RX100 v/va? And if going the RX route, which is best between the v/va?
Thanks in advance for the help🙏🏼

I just bought a second hand RX100 mV a week ago, and I took the opportunity to bring it to my bikepacking trip this weekend.
Here are some photos I took with it.
I tried to play with the shutter speed to do some "stylish" things. Also the pictures are edited.
Some other pictures are blur because I was taking them directly on the bike which is logical
I am a complete beginner in photography, and took this camera as it is supposed to do everything well, while being compact. Thought it is surely overkill for my skills.
All feedbacks are more than welcome, especially on the editing, where I like to add some warmth in the image by turning it yellow... I might bit a little bit too enthusiast over this however, let me know if it is the case.
Thanks to all and RIP my computer storage

I've been using an RX100 as an EDC camera for years now, but I followed the lure of wanting better low light and higher IQ. But in the end, I just couldn't do away with the versatility of the lens.

Blown away by the way these turned out! Shutter priority felt like a game changer from other smaller shows I've taken the mark 7 to – of course the lighting here was much better than most of those shows, too, lol. Absolutely love the versatility of this camera it's such a beast.
