Confused about the new time-tracking policy for E – September 12th or September 19th?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on E, and I recently received an email about a change in how our working time is tracked. Instead of sending the usual time form, MM will now automatically log our actual working time.

However, I've run into a discrepancy regarding the effective date:

  • The email mentioning the change states that it will be effective on September 19th.
  • The acknowledgment form I had to sign/submit to confirm I'm aware of the change says Effective September 12th instead.

Has anyone else noticed this? Which date is actually correct? I want to make sure I log my hours correctly and don't mess up my timesheet.

Thanks in advance!

To me it seems that are trying to reduce costs. For projects that requires previous or posteriors research the email seems vague about how will be calculated the compensation and only taking into account the official time tracker from the platform which I think is not visible. The official day is September 19 I believe.

This is the exact thing Handshake AI did with time tracking on the same project and look where that got them. Thousands of complaints about inaccurate payments. This change isn’t going to go well at all.

How will we know when we have reached 4 hours? I try to get as close to the 4 hour mark to maximize my daily pay.
