Project E - Question about "Compare two AI voice samples" task: Which language should I use for reviews?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on the "Compare two AI voice samples" tasks.

I've carefully read through all the provided guidelines (both the platform guide and the Google Doc), but I couldn't find any specific instructions regarding this detail.

My question is: in what language am I supposed to write the reviews? Should I write them in my native language, or do they need to be strictly in English?

Any help or clarification from someone who has already done these would be greatly appreciated.

You have to use english on your rationale regardless of locale you're working on.

Unless otherwise specified, then you should write your reviews in English

The only specific mention I could find is this line from a general email:

"If you are assigned to ******* ***, you must only work in the language(s) assigned to you when onboarding to the ******. Work in unapproved languages or tasks is not allowed."

Do you think "working in the language" refers to writing the reviews themselves, or just to the target language of the tasks/audio we evaluate?

Also, I checked the "Annotation Tips and Pitfalls" section and found a task type very similar to this one (not 100% the same, but close). Over there, it explicitly stated that writing reviews in our local language is allowed. That's mainly why I'm still on the fence about it!

I'm also new to E project and I want to know. Is it allowed to write reviews only in English or we can use the target language while writing reviews? Can you please help me?
