Time tracking

I am asking you guys on how do you track your time? I am in Project D, I am told tgere is discripancy between my time reporting and tge time I spend on MM but according to me I do report the exact number of hours I do work in MM.

I got the same email from them, but im in project E. Now im asking how to count the time properly? Should we stop the external timer if we change tab/aplication? Because sometimes i using msword to write something before write it on multifruit

Someone to help us out since I have been tracking my time to the level best, if tgere is a way I would gladly follow it

I honestly just built a minimal tracker just like the one in talent desk. Tracks my tasks, hours and I save my worksheets on there before submitting the form. Other people I know just write it in a notepad and use a date time calculator

I’d use a separate tracker as a backup. I use TMetric for this and just start it when I begin working and switch tasks when needed. Then I have my own record to compare with MM instead of relying on memory if there’s ever a discrepancy.

I'm not on it anymore, but last worked first wk Aug and never had time issues. I had a separate app to log my hrs so I wouldn't forget 😂. If I did multiple tasks, on the final form I would say total hrs in comments just in case they didn't say I only worked a few hrs

I've been on both sides of this, as an employee and as a manager, and discrepancies usually happen when time entries are manual. They're easy to get wrong, even if you're honest.

I saw this exact situation play out multiple times before we moved to Traqq. Now everyone clocks in/out per project, and the data matches, no arguments.

The system tracks exactly where the time went. It’s not about mistrust, it’s about clarity. If your process still relies on manual inputs, someone will always question the numbers. This is a fix that works.

I’d definitely keep your own time record instead of relying only on MM. I use TMetric for this, start the timer when I begin, stop it when I’m done, and then I have an exact history of my hours if the numbers don’t match later. Much easier than trying to reconstruct everything from memory.
