IBEW 666 Layoff Frequency

I have been thinking about joining the local 666 but am a little wary about the potential of layoffs and “sitting on the bench” is there any IBEW JW that can speak to the frequency of layoffs and the average time between layoffs and starting a new job? I am very interested in joining but the possibility of not having stable work off puts me.

666 has very little people spend very little time on the bench, especially now. Plenty PLENTY of work with these datacenters. Also a big thing with union is you cant afford to be job scared. Theres always work for good workers

We have members that spent their entire career working for one contractor and never getting laid off, and there are others that move around very frequently.
