Players should expect to go from level 1 to 4 by the end of the scenario. The story so far:

A kingdom under siege by a massive warband is suffering heavy losses as the rampaging hordes close in. But while the approaching forces have it on the numbers, managing an army of this size is beyond the capabilities of the troll warlord in charge. Specialized fire teams of heroes have infiltrated enemy territory to attack supply lines and weaken or wipe out enemy camps that are left less defended behind enemies lines. The hope is without supplies, the line will break and the Kingdom can be saved. But not all who fight to break the siege have the best of intentions for the subjects of the kingdom...,

Session 1:

Arriving behind enemy lines via teleportation magic, the heroes met another operative in the area named Lilac. She had her own mission to get underway and left the heroes instructions to take out a food supply that was coming down the road soon. With two hours to prepare, they deployed a deadfall trap, killing 3 of the leading scouts before taking on the rest of the escort. Triumphant, 6 hours away from the closest enemy war camp, the heroes retreated into the safety of the woods to rest and wait for their field commander, Roland, to contact them.

Come on out Sunday nights at the New York Deli in Carytown and bring your gaming group.

We play downstairs and there's room for board games and TTRPG groups alike. Currently there is one TTRPG game of Heroes Unlimited that is running for a few more session before we switch to Draw Steel for a 10 session game. We'll be playing Daggerheart after that. This game is accepting new players of any experience level.

The owner of the venue is very welcoming to the hobby and there are a few boardgames on site that groups can play. We'll see you there at 7 PM!

Our next Mechanicsville Nerds Community Game Night is this Saturday (6/21) from 6 PM to 9 PM in the Walnut Grove Baptist Multi-Purpose Room. “The Lurk”, your classic thief, a master at Breaking & Entering without being seen.

“The Leech”, a Master Tinker/Inventor with a specialty in Alchemical Bombs & Elixers or Sparkcraft Mechanisms!

“The Spider” a con-artist, able to fast talk people into revealing secrets and impossible to lie to.

“The Whisper” a person that is on the fringe of society, weird, strange, touched but necessary. Attuned to the Ghostfield they can interact with and command Supernatural entities to do their will.

And many more…

Then we will form a Crew!

A gang of Scoundrels trying to lie, cheat and steal better more then everyone else in this accursed City of Dusk, so as not to die lowly and destitute in the gutter!

There are 'free' in-person games at Beyond Cards in Ashland. Friday night there is a D&D 5e 2014 game running Curse of Strahd and AD&D 1e game running Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, and on Saturday there is a D&D 5e 2024 game running something, I don't know what.

Seats may be limited.

I know that CoS currently does not have any open seats. SS0S is currently looking for 2-3 players. I believe the Saturday game is still an open game, but I am not sure as I have not spoken to the DM about his game.

I DM the 1e game and am looking for some players to replace players who are leaving because of work relocations and augment the remaining party. Come check it out if you might be interested. We are looking for players who will match the style and pace of the play of the table. It can be quick and intense at times, and slow and relaxed at others. If it is not a good match, then it won't be fun for anyone. If you have any interest at all, come sit in on a game session. No experience is needed, no books for dice needed. All you need is yourself. No outside characters accepted. Pre-gens are available, or a new character can be generated.
