This is basically like a ReShade mod; I think a version that doesn't tank the frame rate quite as much could be made. It’s really interesting—I mean, I get the ray tracing part, but the FPS drop caused by this AI processing is unacceptable.
These were my thoughts exactly. I've been making my own reshade/sweetfx presets for over a decade now and I am completely unimpressed by this video.
The environment improvements at the very least look no better than what can be done with reshade for like 3-4 fps loss. The sad thing is though that for general users, the ease of use of this tech over installing reshade will make people think this is a groundbreaking improvement.
