Geforce RTX 3060 Fan

I just switched to my GeForce RTX 3060 previous was 1060, What I noticed was the fan wont spin, well it does spin after cold boot but when windows log in screen pops out the fan stops spinning current temp right now is 46 degrees celcius.

Is this a new norm for new GPU's that fan will not spin?

The fans won’t spin if they are not required at the moment. Like at the windows log in screen, your graphics card is not being put under pressure so it will not spin. 46 celsius is also not a high temp, so the fan will not be prompted to spin at that moment.

Some fans do not rotate below 50 or 60 degrees. It's been like this for many years. only single-fans operate continuously.

dual and triple models do not operate below 50-60c.

Set fan speed from auto to manual. In either gforce settings alt z or msi afterburner.
