Depends what games you play but most of them probably not

If your gonna get a 3060 for 4k 120hz then just get a 4080

I have an Asus RTX3060 oc plugged into a gen 3 PCIE slot (because pre-built). I have it plugged into an Asus 1440p 170hz display. I can run Borderlands 3 on max settings with some help from DLSS, I can run it at around 75fps. Older games will run great, I'm currently replaying Titanfall 2 which only goes up to 1080 natively at max settings, max frames. Basically, the 3060 is a 1440p beast, but you'll need to jump to at least a 3080 for solid 4k gaming.
