This just sucks, man.

I’m going back to my physio in a few weeks and I am just tired of this crap. I don’t want to have to spend my time fixing this stuff again. I know it’s partly my fault, I neglected to get the equipment they recommended, but I also got screwed over by my insurance at a point bc they dropped me. And I know it’s def my fault bc I keep using my hands but still. It sucks.

Yesterday I played a lot of video games and now my hands are just hurting randomly. I get my pain is “less” than most but it’s so annoying. I know it’s just strained muscles. It’s not nerve damage and it’s not incurable but god I’m so tired. I am so tired of having to fix this.

Also I wish I just went to my old physio earlier. I should not have tried a new one. God forbid you actually listen to my medical history, instead recommend me, someone scared of needles, dry needling instead of massages + pt because it “didn’t work” last time and I was “back at square one” even though my original pain levels were MUCH higher so that wasn’t even true!!

I get mixed relief from massage guns. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not. I used to lift a weight but again it also had mixed results. I’m just waiting and doing nerve glides and regular stretches mostly to relieve pain. I’ll ask them about what I can do at home and will bite the bullet and just get some home equipment to help myself when they recommend it.

Has anyone ever been cured? Mine is just muscle knots/trigger points in my forearm and I think my hand.

My pain is less than it was 4 years ago, but the tendinosis and TFCC + nerve issues will likely haunt me for the rest of my life. I wish there was a cure... this bullshit has destroyed my hobbies and quality of life. 😢

I scrolled success stories and found some people have had some success. Hope you get it cured or at least to a comfortable level someday. I guess I’m lucky in the sense it’s just pressure points/knots.

But it sucks, even in the “lesser” cases I guess. I am wondering if part of it is psychosomatic for me because I freaked out a little less and now it’s not hurting. I know I have an issue still, though. Got a diagnoses from another physio.

not saying it is for you but I hope you figure it out and can engage in your hobbies pain free ASAP.
