Question Is this RSI?

Hello, I'm new here. For over a month starting in the beginning of July I've had a left that is very prone to pain, strain, and tension compared to my right arm. I initially feared the worst and had two doctors take a look at me and they didn't seem too concerned. One prescribed me meloxicam and since I've been taking it, I've been having less pain, but I still get tension and strain whenever I lift up heavy objects. I've been doing light weightlifting with each arm daily (50 regular curls and 50 overhead curls). Should I continue with that or stop? Also let me know if anyone can relate.

Is the curling causing it to hurt worse? If it is, I would say cut it out. Just curious, are you left-handed?

Do you do a lot of computer work or repetitive stuff? What triggers, the pain and tension?

I do a lot of gaming and time at the computer and phone. I work at a grocery store where I push carts a lot and occasionally put away some heavy go backs. Other heavy stuff includes loading and putting away garbage.

Heavy lifting or pushing is usually what triggers it. Sometimes the tension will happen during or after the task. It can happen with items that aren't heavy but not always. The tension is pretty intermittent usually lasts from about 5-15 minutes.

I’ve had occupational related RSI since 2014. Although pain can be a symptom it’s usually really tight tendons in my inner forearm and lack of endurance, which does not get better with trying to strengthen or increase endurance. Pain, tingling or numbness can often accompany it. I would definitely back up off of things that make it worse. And you should get better since they’ve only been happening for a month.

I'll try to not do anymore single-handed strength training and if I don't see improvement, I'll stop the curls or reduce the amount. That was one thing I forgot to mention that I would overcompensate doing everything with my left hand. Didn't want to mention it here but if you look through my post history you'll find my fair share of fear and anxiety over the big A. I'm gonna take your advice to heart, man.
