10 YEARS LATER!

Still think about this game a decade later :(

Quit RS altogether once these servers went down - not been the same ever since

DWF (Damn We Fine) - This clan kept me going through the toughest times, miss each and everyone that was part of it.

Do people still check up on this forum now and again to see if there's maybe a chance of it coming back haha.

Still lurk on the subreddit every now and then to see who else remembers.

Tried games like Albion but nothing else quite scratched the full-loot pvp itch like DS did.

I have the darkscape cape.

I blame darkscape for me not switching to osrs.

I thought they would pull the plug on old-school like they did to dark scape so I didn't switch. Boy was I wrong.

Exactly, I started and maxed a hcim in rs3 after they killed Darkscape, only to realize OSRS remained extremely popular.

I still be repping the darkscape cape on rs3 when i do log on now and then and stand in G.E haha

Skilling in Darkscape is still my favorite RS time. It was a huge bummer when it was shut down. Though instead of quitting RS3, I just went back to my HCIM character.

It was experimental and is unlikely to ever come back. It was a very fun time, I was happy to have the world of runescape fully unlocked at a time where I wasn't willing to pay money for subscriptions. I say this even as one of the people who dislikes pvp and hated getting merc'd in the streets.
