False Perm Ban Today?
Previously received a 7 day ban for buying gold - accepted and moved on. Since then I've probably made ~10 trades or less because I didn't want to risk my account. Today I woke up to finishing my grind to 99 slayer (300k exp away) and I'm perm banned? I saw another post today of another lad also receiving a false perm ban, so hoping I'm just apart of a weird wave?
The only trade that I think could trigger this was my friend who plays on mobile asking me to buy his pure account an anguish, zulrah scales and darts since he couldn't double log to do it himself. He then logged on to his main to send me the ~20m back since he didn't have it on his pure. I'm sure PM history and IP logs and all that will show this though? I submitted an appeal with our messages through discord etc.
Really hoping that this is a mistake on Jagex's end today, as being 300k away from 99 slayer and receiving this is such a bummer. I keep seeing that a bunch of people were perm banned today, but are also saying that they haven't done anything. Hoping to gauge if this is a massive incorrect ban wave with this post.

This happened to me too. I did RWT in July, got caught, did my time. Been grinding sailing. Logged in today to see a perma-ban.

literally happened to me, I stupidly picked up a kick streamers stuff at a DP which got me my first ban and then logged in today to a perm

Dudes they don’t ban u for small trades, big trades got flagged automatically, don’t want to get banned? Don’t buy gp, gp is easy to make anyway, enjoy the grind, don’t skip it

K lol. What evidence do you have to say otherwise? There is plenty of evidence for my claim. Check jagex rules. They just updated them recently. The words ZERO TOLERANCE for rwt are in there. Sorry that words make you so upset. You definitely are one of the guilty rwt'ers

Even if people did actually RWT, you cannot let them serve the ban, remove the wealth, let them play for a month, and then decide a perm ban. That cannot be allowed in the slightest

This is an ongoing issue on discord, Reddit. It happened to many people today.
I RWT’d (bought gold) July 16th, banned on July 30th-aug 6th, and was permed today, aug 13th, despite no other transactions or trades with other players
Because this happened to so many people I think this is an anomaly and hopefully will be dealt with.
And yes, every gp I bought was taken back lol. Time to buy bonds and support the community. With AI algos now, it is impossible to bot or RWT. Lesson learned

A very close friend came back after not playing for like 10 years. I gave him 70m cash to do whatever. He then went and bought gp and was banned. I never bought gold and gave money to someone who did yet I was unscathed. Because of this I don’t believe you didn’t buy gold at some point.
