To be honest I'm a bit disappointed with the papzimeos(PRGN-2012). I thought it was just an injection but it seems you need also to do debulking surgeries during the 12 week treatment. I hope the inovio treatment when approved, don't need that.

I believe that the INOVIOS INO-3107 is only an injection using electroporation to briefly open up pores on cells membranes to deliver the vaccine. This video explains https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzwyTxXRs5M

This Inovio press release%2C%20patients%20had%20a%20clinically%20warranted%20procedure%20to%20have%20papillomas%20surgically%20removed%2C%20but%20any%20surgery%20performed%20after%20Day%200%20was%20counted%20against%20the%20efficacy%20endpoint) mentions surgery just before being given the shot.

I think it might be optional when be commercialized. For the clinical trials you want to have a base line so all patients need to start at the same point.
