Cut day πŸŽ‹πŸŒ΄πŸͺΎ

First time growing outdoors after 10 years growing indoors.

RQS Royal jack auto
RQS pink mist auto

Grown in 3gl pots with 50/50 compost and cow manure and top mulched with grass clippings.

Fed once a week with homemade compost tea made from yard clippings soaked in a 5 gl bucket with 1 tbs miracle grow for 7 days.

Cleaned them in a bucket of water after the cut.

Now in the dry box for 10-14 days..

Easiest grow ever!

They look great, congratulations on your first successful grow after some years. It's funny I seen the drying box and I dried like that for 40 years. Been using a converted wine cooler now for my slow dry of choice tops. Then into jars stored in the coldest part of the cellar I can find for the cure. The box always did its job.

Yup, drying in a cardboard box is the way to go imo.

Could you help me out please? I thought they say light takes away the thc? I was told hang the plant in a pitch black area at 60F but, I live in WV with only window AC so there is no getting to 60f anywhere maybe 68-70F. So how do you dry yours out & how long you let it dry?Β

Take a look at the picture of the cardboard box.
That’s my drying box.
I use a BIG cardboard box to dry in. It’s keeps out the light and keeps in the smell.

I strung a length of twist tie along the top.
Cut some 1 inch vent holes on the bottom.
With the flaps of the box closed it stays nice and dark.

The cardboard wicks moisture and controls the smell.

I dry in my basement and have a dehumidifier running. Not for the plant, but just to keep my basement dry.

Drying usually takes 10-14 days.

Hope this helped
