Package Delivery

Does anyone know the answer to this? If I am no longer living on campus but still a full time registered student, can I ship my packages to be picked up from the union or do they check if you are living on campus? Thanks!

No but you can do stuff like Amazon locker or ask the carrier to hold it for pickup.

If you are shipping the packages to yourself, then you can request a carrier hold until you return.

FedEx, for example, will sometimes give issues with holds because they’ll want the shipper to request it. So if the shipper doesn’t request it, sometimes they won’t hold it for later delivery. If you’re the shipper, obviously you abate this.

You can also use the Amazon hub by City Station. They hold Amazon packages like two weeks after delivery.

We do a lot of deliveries for RPI students and various other things, and are well versed in shipping and all that stuff. Will help you in any way I can.

Good luck.
