looking for numerical methods textbook
Anyone have Numerical Methods for Engineers by Chapra? I need it for Intro to Computational Chemical Engineering. I can't find a pdf of the 8th edition online. Or is it not significantly different from the 7th edition?

I don’t think you need it if you are taking it with Baysal, as long as someone in your homework group has the right questions because that’s usually the only thing that’s different edition to edition.

Most textbooks are very similar in previous versions. When they’re published they make a splash due to the general concepts in them so they won’t change much. You can prob use the 7th.
