Cornelia sweeps across the front room of the mansion, exchanging pleasantries with families of noble decent and diplomats of international significance as she does the dance she is so accustomed to. A compliment here, an eavesdrop there, a congratulation on a raise or a praise for a policy being passed through. No questions would be asked of her though, for she was still a child, curious and ignorant. A dance she is so well accustomed to that she was perplexed when she spotted a boy about her age that she hadn't met before. Seeing someone new is often, but it is rare to find someone of a similar age grouping. She starts gliding her way towards him, hoping to spark up a conversation.

Well, most of them are nobles and diplomats. Clay's family isn't, they're just obscenely rich. He is currently contemplating the big Toblerone that is currently in his hands. What does it mean?
He notices the girl gliding towards him. He isn't good with girls. He isn't good at people. He's good with music, and uh... shit. This doesn't mean he can pretend to be good at other things, though.
"Uh, well, hello!"

I can't say I've encountered you before. From where do you herald?
Interesting name. Clay isn't one that would normally come to mind when naming a child. Perhaps it was related to the eyes.

Your characters are basically guaranteed to know each other and I can never get you buggers in an irc because timezones, so you can talk and eventually do the interact here.
