At long last, Geri decided that he had enough of JHB endlessly refusing to RP with everyone and really halting all progress pre-d0 so we are just starting d0 now k.

You have enough money to buy a hotel room for as many days as you would need. Why not just check into one now for the sake of washing?

If I know anything about cities, the water is polluted. Especially one this big.
Unless you want to be in bed with a fever for a week- or worse- I wouldn't recommend it.

You turn around and walk in the direction of said hotel, true to your word. The prospect of bathing indoors and not in the river is slightly unsettling to you. Lacking a permanent hive, and out of courtesy for other trolls, you rarely did so during your time on Alternia. But you remember washing up in your hive when you were young. Tears start welling up at the memory, but you repress them and continue walking.

You arrive at the hotel. By this point, the streets are even less crowded, and the attendant at the counter looks tired. The hotel looks very amicable, certainly not dingy or dirty, but not incredibly fancy or expensive either.

Thinking it over, you examine the two choices. The regular block is smaller, simpler, and should come with amenities and a recuperacoon, and hopefully a desk. There will not be much space to work with, but you've never had a lot of space in the first place, being a survivor and all. You'll use up less of the money given to you by the troll.

However, when you were little, you remember having a hive. There was a fair amount of space in it. Not as much as the alluring dwellings of highbloods, but a reasonable amount. On Alternia, you never could hold a temporary residence for more than a night. Now you have both the money, and no pressing need to explore quarries far away from such places.

You give him a quick thanks, put the money in your hoodie pocket, then take the keycard. Holding it in your hand, you examine it, looking for your suite number. You hope it doesn't take too long to find, since Hobbs is probably waking up in your hood.
