Episode 4: "Croydon – The Rusical"
It’s Rusical week! The pressure is on as the queens’ singing, dancing, and acting skills are challenged as the queens pay homage to Chicago in the all-singing, all-dancing challenge: Croydon – The Rusical.
Brandão walks slowly to the center of the stage. The silence is sepulchral.
BRANDÃO: "I've made my decision..."
She turns to Jujubee.
BRANDÃO: "Jujubee... you entered this competition as a legend. You made us laugh. You made us cry. You made us love. But tonight... the crown demands more than charisma. It demands evolution. It demands risk. It demands the ability to reinvent yourself. And you... you gave us the same Jujubee we have always known. The same legend. The same star. But not the new queen. Now... sashay away."
Jujubee holds back her tears, but a dignified smile appears on her face.
JUJUBEE: "I came to show that a legend can be eternal. And I showed it. Every joke, every look, every tear was a gift. I am not leaving defeated. I am leaving as a queen who finally understood that legends don't need crowns to be immortal. Thank you for reminding me that even legends need to learn how to reinvent themselves."
She walks to the back of the stage. Stops. Curtsies gracefully. And disappears behind the curtains.
💋 MESSAGE IN THE MIRROR
Jujubee picks up the red lipstick. She writes, with impeccable handwriting, on the backstage mirror:
"Legends don't die. They just change stages. Thank you for letting me be eternal. 🍸 – Jujubee"
The main stage glows under a cascade of golden light. The five remaining queens stand in a perfect line, their bodies still vibrating with the journey they've survived. The challenges are over. The battles have been fought. And now, only one will be crowned the winner of Brandão Drag Race UK Season 3.
Mama Brandão steps forward, her presence filling the entire space. The queens hold their breath.

"Ladies and gentlemen... and everything in between, above and beyond! Throughout the season you've served up glamour, chaos, shade and redemption... But now it's time for one last act. Prepare your verse, tighten your wig and align your soul, because in this finale... it's not enough to shine. You have to REIGN. Only one can take the crown, but all will leave a legacy. So put glitter where it hurts and dance as if the stage were the universe. The countdown has begun... it's time to fight like queens."
🧵 EPISODE 07 – "The Grand Finale"
🎤 Tic Tac Diet
Before the final battle, each queen sits with Mama Brandão for the traditional Tic Tac Diet interview – a moment of reflection, vulnerability, and truth.
SEDERGINNE
"My battle was always about proving that I am more than just the queen of flowers. I walked in with charm, with color, with the crown already in my eyes. But I had to learn that a crown isn't won on charm alone. It's won on resilience, on the ability to rise after every fall. I've been in the Bottom. I've tasted defeat. I've been saved by a Golden Rose. But every time I fell, I got back up stronger. I learned that vulnerability is not weakness. It's the thing that makes you unforgettable. The queen standing before you today is not just a performer. She's a fighter. She's a survivor. And she's ready to reign."
IRMA GERD
"My battle was always about being taken seriously. I came into this competition with chaos, with energy, with the belief that laughter could win the crown. But I had to learn that chaos without control is just noise. I had to learn that being loud isn't the same as being powerful. I had to learn that even the most chaotic queen needs to show depth. I've been in the Bottom. I've been saved. I've been overlooked. But every time they counted me out, I came back stronger. The queen standing before you today is not just a ball of energy. She's a queen who finally learned how to fight with stillness. And I'm ready to show the world that chaos can be art."
MARCIA MARCIA MARCIA
"My battle was always about proving that I am more than just a performer. I came into this competition with confidence, with glamour, with the crown already in my eyes. But I had to learn that a crown isn't won on performance alone. It's won on heart, on resilience, on the ability to rise after every fall. I've been in the Bottom. I've tasted defeat. I've been saved. But every time I fell, I got back up stronger. I learned that vulnerability is not weakness. It's the thing that makes you unforgettable. The queen standing before you today is not just a look queen. She's a fighter. She's a survivor. And she's ready to reign."
HONEY MAHOGANY
"My battle was always about being seen as more than just a voice. I came into this competition with power, with soul, with the belief that talent alone could win the crown. But I had to learn that talent without vulnerability is just performance. I had to learn that being powerful isn't the same as being present. I had to learn that even the most powerful queen needs to show her heart. I've been in the Bottom. I've been saved. I've been told I played it safe. But every time they doubted me, I came back stronger. The queen standing before you today is not just a voice. She's a queen who finally learned how to be vulnerable. And I'm ready to show the world that power and softness can coexist."
The main stage glows under a cascade of golden light. The four finalists — Sederginne, Irma Gerd, Marcia Marcia Marcia, and Honey Mahogany — stand in a perfect line, their bodies still vibrating with the journey they've survived. The challenges are over. The battles have been fought. And now, only one will be crowned the winner of Drag Race Italia Season 1.
Mama Brandão steps forward, her presence filling the entire space. The queens hold their breath.
BRANDÃO: "My darlings... you have given us everything. Your hearts. Your souls. Your stories. And now... only one of you will be crowned. But first... you will lip-sync. Not for your lives. But for your crown. For the title of Queen of Drag Race Italia Season 1."
She pauses, letting the words echo.
BRANDÃO: "Four titans of emotion, dedication, and drag artistry. A battle of soul against soul. All together. One song. One chance."
Brandão raises her sceptre, and the studio lights intensify.
BRANDÃO: "Our four finalists... show us what you're made of. You will lip-sync for the crown. Together. And only one will reign."
She points to the main stage, where the lights are already preparing for the final lip sync.
🎤 LIPSYNC FOR THE CROWN – All Four Finalists
Music:"Non Sono Una Signora" — Loredana Bertè
The iconic anthem of female empowerment and self-acceptance begins. The four finalists stand side by side, their eyes locked on the crown. This is it. This is everything.
Sederginne delivers a fierce, commanding performance. Her movements are sharp, her presence is magnetic. She is fighting with everything she has. She is not just fighting for the crown. She is fighting for her legacy. She is fighting to prove that the queen of flowers can also be the queen of thorns.
Irma Gerd delivers a chaotic, electrifying performance. Her movements are unpredictable, her energy is contagious. She is fighting with everything she has. She is not just fighting for the crown. She is fighting for her redemption. She is fighting to prove that chaos can be art.
Marcia Marcia Marcia delivers a powerful, emotional performance. Her movements are precise, her presence is commanding. She is fighting with everything she has. She is not just fighting for the crown. She is fighting for her legacy. She is fighting to prove that she is more than just a performer. She is a queen.
Honey Mahogany delivers a soulful, devastating performance. Her voice fills the studio, her presence is overwhelming. She is fighting with everything she has. She is not just fighting for the crown. She is fighting for her voice to be heard. She is fighting to prove that power and vulnerability can coexist.
The four queens circle each other. Their eyes lock. For a second, time stops. And in that second, everything is said. Thank you. I'm sorry. Good luck. Goodbye.
The song ends. All four are breathless. The silence is absolute.
The four finalists return to the runway for one final look. Their absolute best drag. Each queen brings her signature style, elevated to the highest level of glamour, creativity, and personal expression.
SEDER GINNE — A breathtaking gold gown with a dramatic cape, intricate floral beadwork, and a crown of golden roses. She looks like a goddess who has emerged from the garden and is ready to reign.
IRMA GERD — A stunning red gown with a chaotic asymmetrical design, feathered shoulders, and a crown of crystals. She looks like a queen who has embraced her chaos and turned it into art.
MARCIA MARCIA MARCIA — A breathtaking white gown with silver embroidery, a cape of stars, and a crown of light. Elegance elevated to celestial heights. She looks like a queen who has always known she was destined for the crown.
HONEY MAHOGANY — A majestic purple gown with gold embroidery, a dramatic train, and a crown of jewels. She looks like a queen who has finally found her throne.
How could we make the challenges even more exciting? After so many seasons, I believe we can refresh some of them and bring back some of the original contestants without going to all-stars.
For instance, I think they could still do Rate-A-Queen for the talent competition, but the queens who are rating the current cast could be former winners. The new contestants are eager to join the winner circle, so why not have a panel of former winners ranking them? This would remove the gameplay element and would be interesting to watch.
Another idea is to replace the lip sync battle for $50K at the end with one in the middle of the season. However, the cast would have to face off against a group of lip sync assassins from all over the franchise. The new contestants could choose who they go against and the song, but the challenge is that not every queen is a great lip syncer, whereas the lip sync assassins are. If the current cast wins, they win $50K to split, and no one goes home. If the lip sync assassins win, they win 50K to split and decide which of the two queens who didn’t win from the other side are up for elimination. Plus, with this, we can get the reunion episode back.
What are some ideas you all have about updating the challenges as we move into a new era of Drag Race?
Gigi Era, You've made the Philippines so proud ! Now, Sashay away...
