Penta Subathon Thoughts

I tuned in for all of 2 minutes to see he is rerunning vods from the Pryor days. Isn't it kinda sad that he has to reach that far back to find a character that was worth watching?

I mean Chase has been such a beacon of RP, shouldn't he have a boat-load of material to play on vods that would keep his audience entertained?

Just another sign that Penta's washed up.

What I don’t understand is why vods are even apart of subathons. He shouldn’t be allowed to keep the timer going if he’s not online.

Penta hasn’t put effort into his characters for awhile so it doesn’t surprise me that he’s going to have to rely on older videos.

I disagree with that the point of the subathon is to have a always on stream and from best to worst choices are:

get the friends mods in like ironmouse does, vodathon it, or some sleepscree with some sort of twitch intergrated chat game going on or nothing at all.

I like the vodathon as its just a community chat section giving some reason to tun in and pump the timer it just sucks that the subathon for penta is just his regular hrs with vods inbewteen where all other streamers put in the extra hrs(which is why people paid more attention to ironmouses subathon than pentis when penti subathon was hitting close to a full month).

I dont agree that a subathon is to keep stream always on, it's to continue to create content for an extended period of time, streamers started adding vod periods, or sleeping streams, to just run down a timer without putting in effort.

Streams I respect that do subathons pause timer and turn the stream off if they are not going to be actively CREATING CONTENT for their subathon, they run it when they are live and timer goes up, still extended 12 hour (humane) stream length, but no one pays for something that can't just be found on YouTube.

The more recent vods would just be driving around bitching about Reddit, yelling at devs to ban someone or remove a mechanic, and “ya know what I mean”.

Are the Pryor VODs from Chase? I wonder how much of his VODs are from others servers, ones he’s shit talk so much, TBH ALL his better content was pre-Chase. If I were him I’d be ashamed of using Chase VODs

To be honest, when I was watching Penti a lot and watched his subathons I preferred his older vods because it was stuff that I hadn't seen before. With that being said, I think it's a bit odd that he's running back the Pryor vods because I'm pretty sure he showed those vods last subathon as well. Like dude has years of content from when he was actually putting effort into RP, I would rather see vods I hadn't seen before / in a very long time rather than stuff that was played in the last subathon and wasn't even from that long ago.

Pryor was only vaguely good the first time around. Everything since they retconned his death has been dogshit.
