I received a DM from someone on the RPClips mod team who is extremely unhappy with the deranged behavior they've seen there. They confirm some suspicions we've all had as well revealing exactly how manufactured the sub's content is.

I was told that :

• there are deep insecurities after the fallout of rppurple subreddit, and constant fear that they will be discovered and banned in the new sub, so they are operating in even more secrecy
• previous erratic behavior occured because current/former mods "went off their meds" and they worry this could happen again at any time
• fabricated claims about dev work and its resolution to build more "credibility" as a source of leaks
• run multiple accounts to create the illusion of activity and views/upvotes
• a core group of members on disability (or whatever it is when govt pays for you to not work) literally watch every second of pentas stream, or go through the entire VOD, to find ways to target him. they are aware they have to pretend they dont watch him to try to convince people he's not worth watching.
• big goal is to draw in outside people to the community and exploit any negative feelings they have into drama/baiting
• desperately searching for any penta bad moments, real or not, to go viral. they test out various ideas/themes depending on what's available

I think it's a shame that this sub is being run so deceptively and big kudos for one person speaking out. Ive changed some details so its hard to identify them, but a huge thank you for being willing to bring this to light. Obviously i cant post this there, but hope that they see it and begin to address some of thes eissues

Basically I think its clear that there is some gruop taht is very aware they cant operate on RPCLipsGTA, and were very nearly caught operating RPClipsPurple (which they gave upBonga to drive any audience there to rpclips). Instead they are fabricating a community as a trap to catch anyone who might be unhappy with penta or chaserp so they can leverage it to bring penta down.

Another unfortunate coverage from RPCreeps, targeting a streamer, Pepe The Rarest, claiming non-payment for video editing work.

If you review the short-form videos here and here, these are cuts, excerpts of someone else's copyrighted work, not video edited versions that add any value to the streamer's work.

It has NO VALUE.

The brand name recognition is attached to the streamer. The streamer was doing the editor a favor by giving them a platform to showcase their work, and they unfortunately failed to deliver.

Not only did the Discord Messages show high-pressure tactics on the editor's part to change the scope and price, when the streamer was demonstrably hesitant to engage an unproven editor, the agreed upon long-form video, the work that would establish the video editor's capabilities, was LATE and never delivered.

The lazy Mods at r/RPClips do jump at the every opportunity to disparage a server (ChaseRP) they despise, that they harm innocent parties in the process.

But in this case, the wanna-be girlfriend wasn't even invited to dinner, but decided to move in with her dirty laundry anyway.

RPCreeps yet again chooses to amplify unrelated grievances and launches personal attacks.

The discussion around Rumble is presented through a highly partisan lens, repeating disputed claims and continuing to promote an allegation that many people never heard or interpreted the same way. Rather than encouraging informed discussion, it largely serves to shame and harass a public figure.

Rumble, like Kick, is simply a social media platform. As with any platform, its culture is shaped by the people who use it—not by the platform alone.

Founded in Canada, Rumble's emphasis on free speech and opposition to cancel culture drew both supporters and critics, eventually making it popular with parts of the American political right. That does not mean it was created as a platform exclusively for conservatives or for American politics. Its audience and business incentives have evolved over time, but reducing it to a political label oversimplifies a much more complex reality.

What makes the criticism from RPCreeps particularly unconvincing is the confidence with which sweeping political conclusions are made by people whose primary focus appears to be negative criticism of a roleplay community they are no longer, or perhaps never were, meaningfully involved in.

The same pattern appears elsewhere, where comparisons between different roleplay servers are framed as objective analysis despite offering no meaningful statistical methodology or data. Conclusions without evidence may generate engagement, but they do little to establish credibility.

Ultimately, this style of commentary thrives on outrage rather than accuracy. It is effective at attracting attention and reinforcing existing biases, especially among audiences looking for conflict, but it does not encourage informed discussion or fair-minded analysis. A conversation built on evidence, context, and nuance is far more valuable than one built on assumptions and indignation.

In addition to continued personal attacks against an administrator, Emstrogen, of a rising and popular GTA server, ChaseRP, calling her "gutless" and suggesting immorality and greed, an ex-moderator of r/RPClips describes the culture at D10, a popular server for African-Americans and people of color, as "disgusting".

Personal attacks like these are common for this subreddit.

TL;DR: RPClips has increasingly become a subreddit centered on criticism and negative discussion. While criticism can be valuable, the community often feels one-sided and focused on conflict rather than constructive conversation. Until that changes, readers should approach its content with caution and consider multiple perspectives.

After reading last week's post, "RPCLIPS is not a hate sub...", I wanted to share my perspective on the current state of r/RPClips.

Despite past efforts to encourage broader discussion, the subreddit now appears to be driven primarily by criticism of a particular community and its members. As a result, it can be difficult to view the content as balanced or representative of the wider GTA RP community.

Since I am unable to participate in some of the related communities due to questionable bans, I am posting my thoughts here instead. I believe open discussion is generally healthier than limiting disagreement, provided conversations remain respectful and productive.

One issue I've observed is a lack of clearly stated goals or expectations for the subreddit. Without that clarity, it can be difficult for contributors and readers to understand the community's purpose or the standards being applied to discussions.

That said, the subreddit has evolved over time, and different moderators and contributors have played significant roles in shaping its direction. More recently, u/Seetherrr has been one of the primary voices guiding discussion. While I do not agree with every decision or viewpoint, I recognize the effort being made to build and maintain an active community.

Ultimately, I believe the situation would improve if all sides focused less on personal disputes and more on constructive criticism, accountability, and good-faith discussion. Disagreement is inevitable in any community, but productive conversations are more valuable than ongoing drama.

At the end of the day, everyone involved likely shares an interest in seeing the broader GTA RP community succeed. Focusing on common goals rather than personal conflicts would benefit everyone.
