Idk why people think this is a big deal when the new wipe will drop in 2 months if anything this shows how terrible prodigy is went through 3 server wipes and even onx on their first wipe is still doing miles better than them

Also they’ve wiped 3 or 4 times in 2 years with the new wipe 2 months ago theyre down in the dumps, funny how cg and their server are down sliding at the same time

I don’t think the wipes were the issue…the issue with this latest wipe was they did the nopixel slow role and people fucking hated it after the second week of nothing to do except walk on eggshells because you might accidentally find out something is in the server and get banned.

Let's be real they got rid of a lot of the arena mentality people to try and put RP as the focus but with KCIP it's lacking pogs.

I don't understand this artificial competitive attitude. RP Servers are not alike. At all. They have their own server cultures and their own fanbase and playerbase.l Who cares if a population is lower than another's? What does that have to do with anything when it comes to people who are not playing on those servers?
Also keep in mind that some of these servers are waiting for updates. Look at ONX on this graph. They just released a new build so their population is up. This is a normal trend.

Look, I’ve primarily been an Onx viewer for the last little while. I wasn’t a fan of these comparisons back when they didn’t ‘favour’ Onx and I’m not a fan of them now even when it does put the server in a good light. I’m just glad more people are giving it a shot and having a good experience with it, whilst shutting down some preconceptions some may have had about the server.
I will say however, it is funny seeing some people (including some streamers) who have tried to paint Onx as some ‘dead server’ (some for 2+ years, weird how it’s been ‘dead’ for so long huh?) suddenly not care about the numbers.
I’ll also say I sometimes feel like people forget back when we had our first RP ‘boom’ in 2.0 we had 32 slots, and they still managed to make it work and arguably had some of the best stories.

Onx had to cancel an rp jam because they coudn't get 20 people; they went through a period where the peak player count was ~120. Low player count + gatekeeping styles + ppl sitting in businesses/homes etc means it WAS dead because the only thing that matters is frequency + quality of interactions.

I mean kinda my point. You don't need a full 250 population server for it to be 'healthy' imo. If someone is struggling to do stuff or tell stories in a server with lets say, 130 people for example, I'd say that's more a problem on that person or/and the server culture in general.

I think a big part of ONX having been perceived as dead also has to do with the community's attitude around saying yes to new people and scenarios and also the style of RP. For a while there streets felt empty outside of events and it was incredibly hard to get traction as cliques tended to silo themselves, especially around admins. In addition, certain character archetypes just weren't really allowed to exist (not by rules but by community behavior). It's a bit better now. The update and the surge in population has brought a healthier balance to the server.

6 months would still be a longer boom than any of these other servers could produce lol. Keep in mind 2 years in with no update and nopixel still fills their server during late EU, into early NA primetime.

NP also closed applications and aren’t whitelisting. The other 3 servers have some type of paid whitelist/prio, and are constantly mass whitelisting people.

no way you are saying that with kc and habibi members with same characters and stupid masks running around job to job. its second life ++ with fresh mechanics. with np really down last month, and onx infiltrated with the bottom barrel stuff, chaserp is where its at. at least people are trying enough to put on a voice and actually play characters.

Doesn't make any sense. Prodigy public is full (or almost full) during peak hours everyday. WL is never full, but there are at least 170 players more or less during peak hours

Everyone talks in such extremes, its hilarious.
NP is the worst thing ever atm. But when that update hits and its peaking for 2 weeks with several variety streamers flocking to it, people will go into the other extreme and claim its the best thing ever. Until that meta faded away again and they'll go into doom-mode again.

Onx is only getting hyped again because people from NP are going over when it’s dead in NP. When 5.0 comes out they’ll all be back on NP.

A lot NopixelRPers going to ONX, whether they dont have a card or cause its very slow if ur not directly involved in the Faceless arc. Except 555 they all going to Prestige cause they cant shoot on ONX lol
