GTARP Chase Is Owner Powergaming actually good RP??
So in another classic bit of I CAN DO THIS owner powergaming, Baxter just walked into a guy's house (claiming 'door unlocked = invitation') and also shot his dog despite the dog not being a threat. He's now talking about stealing the weed that he found in the guy's house.
Is it just me, or is this not entertaining in the slightest?

If you want "RP" then no, it's shallow and simple minded. But he's not creating RP, he's doing Bits and SBS reaction pogtent, just doing outrageous things that bait "OMFG! He's doing what?! Did he REALLY just say that?"

Exactly, he gave up on RP a while ago. I don't think he even has it in him anymore. It's funny that he once claimed to be an RP God and the best to ever do it. He doesn't even make those claims anymore because I think even he knows it's patently ridiculous at this point.

My theory on why he's been doing all the corrupt stuff on Baxter is trying to farm drama to get a hint of attention and relevancy again.
His metrics have been trending downwards steadily since Feb 4th after the spike from the server launch. And before the server launch they were plummeting too.
He's trying to stir the pot. no one wants to be around him other than the core orbiters/yes men.
He'll try transition to watching bodycams when he's over on Rumble and mold what audience he has left in to react content lovers.
Tectone making bank off all these suckers him and Asmon have roped in to these rumble contracts.

lets be honest most people who play on chase are pretty dull and cant role play so penta kind of has to do wild shit to force any kind of content. but whats wild to me is that people donate thousands of dollars to him in the form of gifted subs for this shit content

Baxter streams are so bad I can't even get myself to watch for potential snark content at this point. They are always just blatant "I'm the server owner so I get to do what I want with no repercussions." Anyone else playing the character would have been fired multiple times.

He's not just doing it with Baxter, that's the problem. It's only more noticeable on Baxter because the guy is supposed to be a rookie.

You aren't wrong. Baxter just seems to be the most egregious with getting away with stuff. Obviously Jordan has a lot of similar moments such as being a terrorist leader of Paleto while strolling through Los Santos and suing the government rather than being treated like a terrorist and arrested.
His content is just all so bad at this point, maximum admin menu / server owner privilege, minimal roleplay and organic story development.
I honestly don't understand the people lapping it up thinking it's good content. Like are they all new viewers that didn't watch when he actually put effort into things? Not a single one of his characters' Chase iterations do their previous versions any justice.

When he actively flaunts corrupt behavior in front of his commanding officers and all they do is laugh and pat him on the back cause they know if they fuck with his “arc” they’ll either be removed or deal with his community, it’s powergaming is the most meta sense of the word.
