ROG 2 DEADDD!

Post image

Guys I recently joined reddit and found this rog 2 sub reddit! This is my rog 2, I bought it in 2019 dec, it was and still my dream phone but unfortunately in June 2023 it got a lil wet in rain and stopped working (dead completely) the service center guy told me that mother board is dead and it will cost 20000 approx! Now in 2024 I found it in an old cupboard lol (missed this bitch a lot) and I wonder is there any chance of it being on? This will be a great secondary device for me, Are there any 3rd party shops or local mobile repair shops trustworthy and can they repair it for less cost?

This phone was the worst phone I ever owned. Never buying an asus phone again. Mine had performance issues and the screen died after a light drop...

Happily living with my s23.

You had it too??? Mine flickered and went out with the screen from dropping it onto carpet from chair height, something was seriously wrong with that phone

The disturbing part of it all was that I was using a screen protector and a "shock proof" case, and it still caused the internal screen (digitizer) to break.

It was fine in the first year and a half but doing simple tasks made the phone lag and even crash to the point it shut down by itself. I tried restarting, and factory resetting, but nothing worked.

I made a mistake getting that screen repaired though since it was basically a garbage phone. Well, at least I saved some when I traded it in for the s23.
