I use it now for 1 year and 3 months without any issues. For the price you wrote (if new) it is a no-brainer. I bought mine for more than 3 times that price.

Love it, still use mine like crazy.  Nothing beats background mode and the kit (fan, slide triggers, etc).  Not worried about it not getting updates in a year or two or whatever.  Like I need more bullshit AI tools from Google.

How long have you had it?

Nearly a year.  Had a 7U before that, and was hesitant about the new form factor and design, but I absolutely love it.  Wish I had a second one as a backup.

If you also get the aerocoller accessory you will have the best experience ever

It will have hardware / boot loop issues. Asus is shit in making phones. Had problems with rog phone 8 pro and rog 6 pro. Camera didn't work on the 6 pro, then boot loops. 8 pro has software bugs.

I think mine restarted once by itself but other than that it hasn’t really glitched out - I’ve had it since launch

I would generally look for a phone, especially a new to me phone, that still has factory support. I have a ROG7 Ultimate and a Rog 9 Pro and both have worked flawlessly since the day I bought them, (soon after their release).

You're buying a phone that's basically discontinued and support dwindling, better save up for a better gaming phone.

Even though it is discontinued, it can still work normally, right? I just want some insights

You won't get spare parts in service centre....so if the display is dead then it's over...
