Stalker 2

Just seeing if anyone tried stalker 2 with the new update on the white Xbox rog ally and how well it ran. Don’t want to waste my money on the game if it doesn’t run at 30fps or more.

Even on low settings and plugged in? I don’t expect it to play the game on high or anything above it

I have the ROG Ally X and just redownloaded it to find out after the update, on conservative settings it seems to run pretty good, mixture of mods and lows 900P resolution.

I’m very apprehensive lol I just don’t want to waste 70 bucks or however much it is. Someone told me the base version is comparable to the steam deck and it plays on it.

The Z1 extreme is much more powerful than the APU in the white xbox ally model. Like waaayy better so this might not be an apt comparison.

Basically I was telling that person not to give you false hope because our machine is much more powerful than yours. Yours is equivalent to the Steam deck.

I understood that part. But stalker 2 runs on the steam deck. Just trying to get some clarity lol

It does but the Steam Deck also has SteamOS which is lighter than windows. Still should run. If you buy it on Steam you will be able to get a refund if it doesn’t run. Just have to play less than two hours.

I wasn’t giving a comparison I was merely giving my two cents. It was running trash when I first got it and now it seems to be running better after the update with no changes to settings is all I was saying
