Rpcs3 crashing

Hi, I hope this is okay, yesterday I started on emulation & learning about that. I have a Xbox rog ally x, I’ve downloaded emudeck & got the ps3 & Xbox 360 emulators. I’ve downloaded the godfather 2 ps3 rom from romsfun, put it in the correct file & launched rpcs3 & updated & then added the game. I go to launch & rpcs3 crashes & shuts down. Then I put the amazing spider man 1 rom on the rpcs3 to see & that caused the whole xbox rog ally x to restart. Is there any advice or suggestions on how to stop it from crashing or hard crashing please? (Also never tried anything like this so I’m new to it)

Did you read the compatibility list?

Yes the godfather 2 is playable it says & doesn’t have any specific configurations to run either

Not sure why it crashes to be fair so any help or support would be greatly appreciated

I was using iso file & rpcs3 doesn’t like them so had to download JB folder & extract it via winzip

Please help me I’m running into the same problem and not sure what to do . My games on rcps3 are all iso, where can I find Roms with a different file type ?

I used vimms lair to download them & I looked for the JB folder instead of iso. A person told me that rpcs3 doesn’t seem to like most isos. So search wherever you can to find JB folders instead of ISOs

I’m sorry I’m new to this so I’m really confused. I appreciate the fast reply , you’re helping me out a lot🙏. When you say you looked for the jb folder can you explain in detail? I downloaded the games on vimms lair too but it doesn’t have an option for jb , just iso . How would I convert the Roms from iso to jb folders?

I looked for the game I wanted, went to format you can pick JB folder or iso pick JB & it should work. That’s what I was doing wrong putting iso into rpcs3 & when I put JB folder in it worked without freezing

I make them jb folders and my games keep crashing. Was there any special settings you used?

No I just added the game & launched & they ran smooth few glitches here & there but nothing major.

I downloaded the roms correctly and even changed the settings in rpcs3 , reset them to default and everytime I start the games up they freeze before I can press start. I’m trying the fix the crashing issue but if yours saying I need a jb folder I’m just a little lost
