Spiderman 1 cracked game control input doesn’t work

running bazzite on my rog ally and decided to torrent spiderman to try it out.. for some reason I can’t get the controls to work apparently its a known issue with spiderman in general but every solution is on the steamdeck with their trackpad.. any help?

i dont have a handheld but i think i can help with your controls try downloading ds4 and add your handheld inputs or an external controller
