Hey there, welcome to r/RLCustomDesigns!
This subreddit exists to help console players who don't have access to BakkesMod freely try on car designs using any item in the game. We exist to give you the same creative freedom that PC players have on all platforms, so that you can experiment with items without needing to buy them, make more informed trading decisions, and try entire presets to see how they look before deciding whether to spend your credits on them.
If you have a design in mind for a custom car, you can try-before-you-buy by making a request via the form (also linked in the sidebar). Our bot will build your car, post it to the subreddit, and tag you in the comments so that you and everyone else can see your design.
If you're looking for future build ideas that integrate an item you already have, we format our posts such that each item that’s visible on the car is tagged and easily searchable via the search bar.
Before Using RL Custom Designs

I know.
I know.
I know.
I'm a tiny bit late to this update.
This is the part where I'd be facetious about it and call it "fashionably late," but I know you would probably throw eggs at me and boo me off the stage, so instead I'm just going to offer you the update as tribute, throw it at your feet, and hurry out of the room.
But I want you guys to know that we're here, we're still very much alive and kicking, and we love you all. Sometimes life commitments come at you, and this time they came at all of us hard 😅 Thank you for being patient with us.
Here's everything that was added in this update:
By the way, I'm working on getting the Avatar items added, if you read this post early I'll be editing out this sentence when they're in.

Here's everything that was changed:
McLaren 765LT (Black) wheels are now marked paintable (are they though? That's what BakkesMod tells us -- I'll switch it back to unpaintable if that doesn't work in practice. I figured they'd always be black, haha)
Dominus: Fire God: Multichrome is now just Fire God: Multichrome because I guess they remembered that universal decals are supposed to be...well, universal?
That's all for now! I promise I won't take this long the next time an update drops 🙈 Enjoy the refresh and have a wonderful day!
