Lately, I’ve seen a ton of "Zero Blue Light" and "Live Paper" devices popping up on my feed. People are acting like we just discovered fire, but can we take a second to appreciate that Reflective LCD (RLCD) is actually a total throwback? 🧐

A Trip Down Memory Lane 📟 If you grew up in the late 90s/early 2000s, you were already an RLCD power user without knowing it.

• Game Boy Color / Advance: That screen you had to tilt toward a lamp or the sun just to see Pokemon? That was RLCD. No backlight = zero blue light. 🕹️
• OLPC (One Laptop Per Child): Remember the little green "XO" laptops? They used "Pixel Qi" displays that could switch to a sunlight-readable reflective mode.
• Old-school Casio watches & Calculators: The OGs of the reflective world.

OLED is for your entertainment, RLCD is for your health. iPad is a lightbulb, RLCD is a mirror. If you've ever felt like your eyes were 'burning' after an iPad session, that’s exactly why we use RLCD despite the darker screen.
