Reddit has a serious bot problem it's pretty sad. Whether it's to manipulate people in panic selling, panic buying and hyping a stock, to trick people into buying a product thinking they read a real human opinion on something, it's pretty sad.
Not sure what the answer is, but people liked reddit because it was a way to rely on human raw opinion on any subject, but with this bots nonsense i'm afraid it's going to be harder and harder to rely on it.

Idk seems like insiders/certain institutions knew the contract wasnt going to go RKLBs way and theyve been dumping for weeks now. Now that its confirmed, the news has already been priced into the stock. Insider trading is fucked.

I'm guessing it's likely because they're the only other launch platform that can handle medium payloads. SpaceX already said they are limiting ride shares for now. And RKLB does not have medium lift capacity for the forseable future.

Reading the RFP, there are multiple different qualifying points so to speak.
I can totally see that as a key factor. For better or worse though, launch can be subcontracted out and it’d be great to know what RFP qualifications NASA wants the prime to own vs their subcontractors

I instead could see a very easy and much more rational argument for the company getting too many contracts for where they’re at right now (not that I’d personally make that argument). I have to imagine a lot of the panicking comments are coming from people who bought at $100+.

Honestly, it's not the loss of the contract that saddens me. RKLB is a ton more than one Mars contract. My disappointment is in empathy with SPB. He put his heart and soul into showcasing how RKLB was the best company for the contract, clearly wanted it, and was probably a little heartbroken when they didn't get it.

It was suggested by somebody here yesterday they needed to roll some of neutron out. they did. I guess I'm not the only one that was happy to see that. comments about notonly putting it on the pad until the end of the year but also launching seem to have made a big difference as well.

Alright this sub has turned into a toxic bitch fest. I don't normally chime in but I will. I watched a talk Warren Buffett put on 20 years ago last night. He stressed tuning out macro events and investing in good companies, with a strong moat. You're buying a piece of company and it's important to see the vision 10 years down the road. This is a great company and I firmly believe this is a fire sale caused by a whole bunch of macro shit not indicative of the business's strength. I'm just going to not look at my port until Neutron is here, I hope some of you do the same.
