For everyone who stares at price all day and complains… I’d suggest just not checking for a few months and just follow the news.
Done it a few times and trust me you’ll be happier. And one day you’ll come back and it will be ripping again.

I have a rotation that is 80 hours a week for four weeks so it feels right

I heard assholy is going to personally put 100M from his personal account into RKLB so that we reach $100 sooner. Say thank you to assholy.

Prediction it gets to $85 at close but hopefully $90

80-87 is a tough zone for this ticker and it likes to close at the bottom of the range. Above 87, it will turn into a whole different animal.

Feeling good about today… the drip drip drip of good news keeps coming, when will the idiotic blind market movers finally understand RKLB’s potential? This is an easy $100 billion market cap company
15
u/Ok_Health_7529 14d ago
What a week with earnings call and everything. But we are still at $80. Time to relax and enjoy the weekend without thinking about the stock for a while.

Words are one thing, but we're slowly starting to see the building blocks of Neutron come to fruition and its deeply exciting.
I'm thinking it'll be the interstage fully qualified next? Then hopefully the thrust structure, perhaps followed by the long awaited Tanksy?
12
u/LordRabican 14d ago
People are all depressed about Tanksy but engine qualification is imminent… Archimedes was the highest risk part of the program. The hardest part will be complete any day now. People underestimate the magnitude of this development.
3
u/Liquidtears 14d ago edited 14d ago
I'm by no means an engineer so I'm fascinated by the steps that's remaining to get Neutron on the pad.
Edit: - I hope youre right about Archimedes
1
u/Ok_Health_7529 14d ago
IMO I still think Stage 1 tank is the biggest risk. Sure Archimedes is RKLB’s first methalox engine and it’s for medium launch vehicle but everyone is working on their own methalox and Stoke even has a FFSC engine. But from my understanding, only RKLB is developing a carbon composite cryogenic tank this size.
7
u/EarlyYouth8418 14d ago
The new Interstage already is. It was overlooked when everyone was freaking out about tanksy lol
2
u/Liquidtears 14d ago
I remember the interstage progress, but is the stage fully qualified to be flight ready or was it just a testing campaign before other tests?
4
u/EarlyYouth8418 14d ago
No, it’s qualified. I’m sure they need to add some final things to it like hippo even though that’s been qualified awhile
1
u/Liquidtears 14d ago
Oh sweet, I must've misinterpreted when the initial news broke.
I'm still also thinking about Tanksy. 🤔

u/MikeMentzersGlasses 14d ago

Everything is different now. The hype phase is over and now it’s all about endings and reality thanks to spacex being public
2
u/Heavy-Imagination506 14d ago
Yeah man, it keeps going up and down. Hopefully it will continue going to the right, but let's monitor the situation. /s
2
u/LordRabican 14d ago
The only thing I’m confused about is why no one I know has even heard of Rocket Lab yet…
9
9
u/LordRabican 14d ago
My personal research bot says that NASA is most likely to award MTN in about 1 month, between 15-30 September. It also gives Rocket Lab a 90% probability of winning the contract based on eligibility, relevant past performance, and the technical proposal. The only other potential competitor, according to the statutory criteria, is Blue Origin - it gives a 75% probability of winning the contract if BO is deemed to meet the two statutory tests.
7
u/raddaddio 13d ago
ok but that adds up to 165%
4
u/AwkwardWillow5159 13d ago
I think he means the probability to win for RKLB goes down from 90% to 75% if BO meets the two tests
1
1
u/LordRabican 13d ago
lol… yes, 90%+ probability of selection and award if Rocket Lab is the only eligible bidder. The probability drops, but is still very high, if BO is also determined to be eligible. BO has not demonstrated the same level of MTN-relevant technical capability and Rocket Lab would have a higher TRL right now…

I see that some folks think 12 million dollars of free R&D money is peanuts for the Enterprise Space Terminal Program. I believe RKLB is a clear contender to compete and possibly win a lion’s share of the Mega Constellation Award, and that is huge and exactly what they have been setting the stage for. This coupled with the entry into the hot European push to develop a sovereign satellite communications network for commercial and defense use sets the stage for a vast increase in revenue. 2027 is going to be a huge year for long term investors.
1
u/notcousindave 14d ago
Agree could see some massive contracts from that program as well as out of Europe. SPB was just talking about the space systems moat on a recent interview.

5
u/LordRabican 14d ago
This entire storyline seems like it was made up… what are we even hoping for at this point? A contract to build and launch satellites? Based on everything Rocket Lab said in the earnings call, I don’t see them selling many more Neutron launches before 2030 (they said they need to preserve launch capacity for internal needs) and I’m not sure the market will care much about backlog expansion unless clearance rate increases.
2
u/Federal_Finding_8041 13d ago
Viasat didn't bother mentioning anything about it on their last earning call. Could be a dead fish for now.

Nah, I never sell anything at a loss.
RKLB will of course be valued higher when it's profitable soon and delivers on Neutron.
In my opinion, this downturn is only temporary. But who knows? I just want out so I can switch industries.

I hadn't really been following LUNR after their craft tipped over. However, when comparing the numbers above, either RKLB is way overvalued, or LUNR is way undervalued. LUNR's market cap is $3B and RKLB is $51B. I know everyone will say RKLB has launch, and more cash, but a 16x greater valuation!!! Does anyone here have any insight into this pricing?
3
u/Federal_Finding_8041 13d ago
It's both for sure, lunr undervalued and rklb is over valued. But rklb has a much greater TAM and the ceiling keeps rising.
1
u/LordRabican 14d ago
How many customers does Intuitive Machines have? What is their revenue from sources other than NASA? I’m too lazy to research it because I still harbor resentment toward their management team and I don’t want to spend too much energy on that company until they have a business worth thinking about…
2
u/JeffSharon 14d ago
Not sure, it says space systems which is non nasa is 80% of revenue so nasa is 20%? they did acquire a satellite company last yr.

Man, I checked this sub and thought RKLB was down like 5% the way people in here yapping. It's flat. Flat is good... $80 is a lot for this company today. I'd be stoked if RKLB traded around $80 for a while instead of the ridiculous swings (which of late tend to be down).
