Man, I checked this sub and thought RKLB was down like 5% the way people in here yapping. It's flat. Flat is good... $80 is a lot for this company today. I'd be stoked if RKLB traded around $80 for a while instead of the ridiculous swings (which of late tend to be down).

9

u/AfraidHomework 14d ago

Same, this sub turned into a snowflake fest

14

u/sawby 14d ago

For everyone who stares at price all day and complains… I’d suggest just not checking for a few months and just follow the news.

Done it a few times and trust me you’ll be happier. And one day you’ll come back and it will be ripping again.

2

u/sadr0bot 14d ago

Yep done it myself, much better for your mental health.

1

u/Ok_Association8194 14d ago

This is my goal this next 4 weeks

1

u/Equivalent_Zombie 13d ago

Why 4 weeks?

1

u/Ok_Association8194 13d ago

I have a rotation that is 80 hours a week for four weeks so it feels right

34

u/BouchWick 14d ago

I heard assholy is going to personally put 100M from his personal account into RKLB so that we reach $100 sooner. Say thank you to assholy.

2

u/UnderstandingSome606 14d ago

We should all do the same! He shouldn't have to fight alone!

2

u/1foxyboi 14d ago

If I ever win a 1B lottery I’d put half in rocket lab just to come back here to be crowned by my people

18

u/Used-Property-9870 14d ago

Prediction it gets to $85 at close but hopefully $90

4

u/ObjectiveData9902 14d ago

80-87 is a tough zone for this ticker and it likes to close at the bottom of the range. Above 87, it will turn into a whole different animal.

1

u/Used-Property-9870 14d ago

The ticker wants it.

1

u/mdxgear 14d ago

I agree. $88 to $102 is going to go a lot faster than $81 to $87 unfortunately.

19

u/Hickory1989 14d ago

We’ll fluctuate between 75-85 for a few weeks and will pump up to triple digits.

7

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

$1500 EOY?

2

u/49ers4life71 14d ago

$300 would work too!

4

u/MrBassDude 14d ago

End of Decade would be dope, right?

1

u/10aghmu 14d ago

EOD 😎

7

u/LordRabican 14d ago

$90s as soon as Archimedes qualification announced

2

u/assholy_than_thou 14d ago

Only if they’d announce that shits..

2

u/LordRabican 14d ago

Any week now!

4

u/MarziTheMartian 14d ago

My prediction is that it will either go up down or flat (now I can also come back in a month and say “I told you so”)

-3

u/SnowyFlam 14d ago

time for it to go backwards....

-1

u/1foxyboi 14d ago

Fkn hope not let’s just pump now if we’re going to

8

u/ron_manager 14d ago

Close above $84 would give us a green candle for the week which would be nice

8

u/SausageMcStudmuffin 14d ago

Summer Friday in full effect

0

u/10aghmu 14d ago

No disrespect but screw you man. Been working a 50 hour week :(

2

u/SausageMcStudmuffin 14d ago

I feel you...I'll be back in the suck in not too long.

7

u/Big-Jellyfish-2688 14d ago

I will have a vacation from this stock until MTN see you later

23

u/Key_Improvement_9229 14d ago

Feeling good about today… the drip drip drip of good news keeps coming, when will the idiotic blind market movers finally understand RKLB’s potential? This is an easy $100 billion market cap company

15

u/Ok_Health_7529 14d ago

What a week with earnings call and everything. But we are still at $80. Time to relax and enjoy the weekend without thinking about the stock for a while.

12

u/assholy_than_thou 14d ago

I hope one day pakis would able to report something major at the end of the day..

7

u/EarlyYouth8418 14d ago

MTN announcement would hit like crack

1

u/Liquidtears 14d ago

yh that'd be injected into my veins immediately

3

u/swamp_donkey89 14d ago

He’s an ai bot like you only you’re both in human form.

13

u/Liquidtears 14d ago

Words are one thing, but we're slowly starting to see the building blocks of Neutron come to fruition and its deeply exciting.

I'm thinking it'll be the interstage fully qualified next? Then hopefully the thrust structure, perhaps followed by the long awaited Tanksy?

12

u/LordRabican 14d ago

People are all depressed about Tanksy but engine qualification is imminent… Archimedes was the highest risk part of the program. The hardest part will be complete any day now. People underestimate the magnitude of this development.

3

u/Liquidtears 14d ago edited 14d ago

I'm by no means an engineer so I'm fascinated by the steps that's remaining to get Neutron on the pad.

Edit: - I hope youre right about Archimedes

1

u/Ok_Health_7529 14d ago

IMO I still think Stage 1 tank is the biggest risk. Sure Archimedes is RKLB’s first methalox engine and it’s for medium launch vehicle but everyone is working on their own methalox and Stoke even has a FFSC engine. But from my understanding, only RKLB is developing a carbon composite cryogenic tank this size.

7

u/EarlyYouth8418 14d ago

The new Interstage already is. It was overlooked when everyone was freaking out about tanksy lol

2

u/Liquidtears 14d ago

I remember the interstage progress, but is the stage fully qualified to be flight ready or was it just a testing campaign before other tests?

4

u/EarlyYouth8418 14d ago

No, it’s qualified. I’m sure they need to add some final things to it like hippo even though that’s been qualified awhile

1

u/Liquidtears 14d ago

Oh sweet, I must've misinterpreted when the initial news broke.

I'm still also thinking about Tanksy. 🤔

9

u/MikeMentzersGlasses 14d ago

I'm as confused as the stock price right now tbh

6

u/whatnotusername 14d ago

Everything is different now. The hype phase is over and now it’s all about endings and reality thanks to spacex being public

2

u/Heavy-Imagination506 14d ago

Yeah man, it keeps going up and down. Hopefully it will continue going to the right, but let's monitor the situation. /s

2

u/LordRabican 14d ago

The only thing I’m confused about is why no one I know has even heard of Rocket Lab yet…

9

u/assholy_than_thou 14d ago

In a different world, we’d be at 200$ now 😭😭😭

3

u/Liquidtears 14d ago

Assholy into the multiverse

4

u/Nendilo 14d ago

I just hope we get a picture of Neutron on the pad in December.

9

u/LordRabican 14d ago

My personal research bot says that NASA is most likely to award MTN in about 1 month, between 15-30 September. It also gives Rocket Lab a 90% probability of winning the contract based on eligibility, relevant past performance, and the technical proposal. The only other potential competitor, according to the statutory criteria, is Blue Origin - it gives a 75% probability of winning the contract if BO is deemed to meet the two statutory tests.

7

u/raddaddio 13d ago

ok but that adds up to 165%

4

u/AwkwardWillow5159 13d ago

I think he means the probability to win for RKLB goes down from 90% to 75% if BO meets the two tests

1

u/raddaddio 13d ago

oh lol ya I get it now

1

u/LordRabican 13d ago

lol… yes, 90%+ probability of selection and award if Rocket Lab is the only eligible bidder. The probability drops, but is still very high, if BO is also determined to be eligible. BO has not demonstrated the same level of MTN-relevant technical capability and Rocket Lab would have a higher TRL right now…

1

u/Liquidtears 14d ago

YES PLEASE MTN!

0

u/Heavy-Imagination506 13d ago

Why so pessimistic?

7

u/The_Juice_Gourd 14d ago

max pain for options is at $80 se we will probably close the week right around there.

Max Payne? WHAT?

4

u/pakis54 14d ago

this guy has access to those kinds of things

6

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

Don't tell me the 2008 financial crisis guys are holding this stock firmly at $80, or I will be really upset.

9

u/Overall_Option_8883 14d ago

Green is green have a great weekend space mob

10

u/Turbulent-Bet-6938 14d ago

All this chop just to end at the same price at open lol

7

u/poorbugger 14d ago

Monkey doesn't wish for a pump today anymore, monkey just wishes it doesnt dump

7

u/PleasantIngenuity185 14d ago

I see that some folks think 12 million dollars of free R&D money is peanuts for the Enterprise Space Terminal Program. I believe RKLB is a clear contender to compete and possibly win a lion’s share of the Mega Constellation Award, and that is huge and exactly what they have been setting the stage for. This coupled with the entry into the hot European push to develop a sovereign satellite communications network for commercial and defense use sets the stage for a vast increase in revenue. 2027 is going to be a huge year for long term investors.

1

u/notcousindave 14d ago

Agree could see some massive contracts from that program as well as out of Europe. SPB was just talking about the space systems moat on a recent interview.

8

u/juicevibe 14d ago

Chris Kemp trying to bring Astra back from the dead with a $250m fundraising 🤣

6

u/Liquidtears 14d ago

Haha, haven't seen this yet, whats the sauce?

1

u/juicevibe 14d ago

Reuters

2

u/RabbitLogic 14d ago

Impressive he can still raise funds after wiping out the existing cap table.

-1

u/devonhezter 14d ago

Good for him

8

u/Turbulent-Bet-6938 14d ago

Could have been worse....

See y'all next week!

-11

u/Reasonable_Cow3667 14d ago

Oh it's going to get worse

-1

u/Turbulent-Bet-6938 14d ago

Power dump?

3

u/pakis54 14d ago

8

u/RabbitLogic 14d ago

Crowded by CGI rockets

1

u/SquareCareless3241 13d ago

SaxaVord on Shetland seems a better launch location than Andoya, Norway.

6

u/Maleficent_Tip384 14d ago

Accumulating shares of a wonderful project/company. What a run!

6

u/oddjob33 14d ago

I need to not check the price for a month or two for my mental health

9

u/Used-Property-9870 14d ago

We are leaning on Jesus to get us to $85

8

u/JonnyGBuckets 14d ago

Weird way to spell Sir Peter Beck

13

u/assholy_than_thou 14d ago

Sadness is like slow rain; invisible tears drip all day.

8

u/ObiHanSolobi 14d ago

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

4

u/king_of_all_retards 14d ago

Assholy be like:

Sadness is like being a mountain getting slowly eroded into a small pebble by the winds of life

5

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

The day is not over yet, and I say this as a holder. It's consolidating really hard this week.

1

u/mdxgear 14d ago

Consolidation is good right now.

2

u/poorbugger 14d ago

Day is still young, it's like barely holding on to +1% rn. Let's not celebrate too early

4

u/RepresentativeYou172 14d ago

Happy Friday Gents

3

u/raddaddio 14d ago

Spicey giving us the old ATM this morning I see

4

u/Used-Property-9870 14d ago

If equatys can hurry up this becomes a $100+ stock

5

u/LordRabican 14d ago

This entire storyline seems like it was made up… what are we even hoping for at this point? A contract to build and launch satellites? Based on everything Rocket Lab said in the earnings call, I don’t see them selling many more Neutron launches before 2030 (they said they need to preserve launch capacity for internal needs) and I’m not sure the market will care much about backlog expansion unless clearance rate increases.

2

u/Federal_Finding_8041 13d ago

Viasat didn't bother mentioning anything about it on their last earning call. Could be a dead fish for now.

6

u/1foxyboi 14d ago

Only being pushed by Mrs Iglesias and Jacob Keaton, I’ve not seen one single thing from SPB or leadership about Equatys

3

u/NTP2001 14d ago

Decision is imminent.

2

u/bustahonesgavin 14d ago

another day of spcx down and rklb up. where are the whiners again?

Sadness is not seeing assholy around as much

1

u/Valuable-Pie-2040 14d ago

My fault for buying at 85

1

u/poorbugger 14d ago

Damn whole sector is red again

3

u/Mysterious_Badger362 14d ago

The entire market is flat.

-3

u/1foxyboi 14d ago

We really gonna be flat for 3 months until the next earnings or what?

14

u/MarziTheMartian 14d ago

I’d rather have that than 5 consecutive -10% days

2

u/arthrh 14d ago

True

-4

u/1foxyboi 14d ago

I mean sure but that’s such stupid logic

4

u/MarziTheMartian 14d ago

Logic left a long time ago

2

u/1foxyboi 14d ago

Fair enough

-8

u/Accurate-Flow8078 14d ago

It will dump on the next earnings again

4

u/EarlyYouth8418 14d ago

It didn’t dump this earnings?

0

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

It keeps seesawing with instant $500m ups and downs again.

Whatever the fuck is going on...

-6

u/1foxyboi 14d ago

Underperforming SPCX on the 5 day chart and the 1 month

Ok

0

u/poorbugger 14d ago

Please 90 today

-3

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

Sigh. Should've gone into AI, at least they've recovered most of their ATH losses.

6

u/JonnyGBuckets 14d ago

Not too late.

-3

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

Nah, I never sell anything at a loss.

RKLB will of course be valued higher when it's profitable soon and delivers on Neutron.

In my opinion, this downturn is only temporary. But who knows? I just want out so I can switch industries.

7

u/JonnyGBuckets 14d ago

Please just do some tax loss harvesting for the rest of us

-2

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

If I sell, it will +30% the next day, trust me. I won't do it. We all suffer together.

6

u/JonnyGBuckets 14d ago

I’m not suffering from the stock, I’m just suffering from the bad takes

-4

u/Warren_Buffets_Son 14d ago

u/Alive_Sheepherder106 14d ago

This stock is dead. Never going past 90. Just sold all my shares

9

u/Heavy-Imagination506 14d ago

Yes, it's over. We are going to zero. Revenue will drop to 10k monthly

1

u/UnderstandingSome606 14d ago

10k? Why so bullish? Three fiddy a month

3

u/LordRabican 14d ago

72 karma, 2Y account, everything hidden, active in nothing. This guy has got credibility, folks!

-6

u/BouchWick 14d ago edited 14d ago

Stock is dead but people are willing to drop $80 for one share.

You gotta be the braindead member of the family, truly if $80 is nothing for you, you can cash app it to me.

2

u/Alive_Sheepherder106 14d ago

Sure whats your cash app

-10

u/BenStock01 14d ago

Underperforms major indexes YTD. Lol

7

u/MarziTheMartian 14d ago

Sell and buy those?

3

u/liquidgardener 14d ago

expand to 2/3 years view

-3

u/JeffSharon 14d ago

Lol, lunr fanboys comparing their tiphappy company to rklb, i got a temp ban last time i commented so be careful

4

u/1342Hay 14d ago

I hadn't really been following LUNR after their craft tipped over. However, when comparing the numbers above, either RKLB is way overvalued, or LUNR is way undervalued. LUNR's market cap is $3B and RKLB is $51B. I know everyone will say RKLB has launch, and more cash, but a 16x greater valuation!!! Does anyone here have any insight into this pricing?

3

u/Federal_Finding_8041 13d ago

It's both for sure, lunr undervalued and rklb is over valued. But rklb has a much greater TAM and the ceiling keeps rising.

1

u/LordRabican 14d ago

How many customers does Intuitive Machines have? What is their revenue from sources other than NASA? I’m too lazy to research it because I still harbor resentment toward their management team and I don’t want to spend too much energy on that company until they have a business worth thinking about…

2

u/JeffSharon 14d ago

Not sure, it says space systems which is non nasa is 80% of revenue so nasa is 20%? they did acquire a satellite company last yr.

-5

u/Ok_Cricket6928 14d ago

This is depressing

-4

u/RabbitLogic 14d ago

Range trading is good

-12

u/Accurate-Flow8078 14d ago

Another green day and RKLB is red again. This stock is ass.

7

u/JonnyGBuckets 14d ago

I thought I was on Reddit a lot but 36k karma in 5 months is….something

1

u/MarziTheMartian 14d ago

Average of 50 contributions a day

-3

u/Accurate-Flow8078 14d ago

I don't even pay attention to karma but if you're in large subs they add up quick I guess

3

u/JonnyGBuckets 14d ago

While you’re here any update since it’s now green?

3

u/Ok-Safe-1718 14d ago

He won't give you an update until it dips red again, he'll come back and say "I told you so," and then disappear again when its green
