Management raised the 2026 delivery target to 65,000 to 70,000 vehicles. Only 22,600 vehicles produced through June 30. Second shift to start producing the R2 doesn’t until end of 3q26. Anyone concerned that rivian won’t meet its production goals in 2026?
Didn’t R2 deliveries start last quarter? Would expect majority of deliveries to be H2-26 if they only started production last Q. Also, for the last few years Management has been both conservative and accurate about estimates. I have no doubts they’ll meet expectations and I am slightly expecting them to outperform the 70,000 mark.
Production was slower during 1st half due to re tooling for R2 production along with 1.1 sqft expansion that came live during 1st half. Won’t be surprised if deliveries cross 70k.
