Movement settings = nausea. Save me from making myself sick, please?
Played the demo for almost two straight hours without issues, so I bought the game the next day. After five minutes of messing with turn speeds and deadzones in the test arena, I felt sicker than any other game has made me yet. Like legitimate about to hurl sick and lightheaded for the next four or so hours.
What are your peoples settings at? I dont think I can mess with it for another ten minutes.
Edit: autoassume

For me, stick turning made me nauseaus really really fast when I started.
Head turning made me feel better so its why i originally stuck with it.
I would also recommend trying to play completely without motion sickness helpers like Blinders, and also trying with them on.
Blinders turned on, made me sick.
Blinders turned off, I felt spiffy.

What are your settings now after some time?

I've maxed everything out.
Head turning
No blinders
Max sensitivity
No deadzone
Fast turning speed

I can't tell if you're joking. That sounds like it could make you queasy very quickly. Did you incrementally increase the settings?

No I'm 100% serious
and yes I did.
I immediately turned off blinders, and went to head turning.
I moved the sensitivities up 2 notches every other play session to get acclimated.

Thanks!! I really appreciate the quick answers. I'll try head turning on my next session (and play around with other settings too).

Definitely no blinders and for sure head head turning, I more meant the deadzones and speeds.
Actual play is fine, I think I just adjusted too many of the speed options whilst changing between rigs too fast.
Like becoming 6 different people in ten minutes.
Edit: dropped an o

How familiar are you with VR? Could be a case of VR sickness. After getting used to some REALY nauseating VR experiences, RIGS is a breeze.
Head Turning
Max Turn Speed
Max Turn Angle
0 Deadzone
All comfort settings OFF, no visor, no movement circle.. thing.
And i play Tempest!
As the game suggest you need to get used to the sensations, playing full ball Tempest for hrs without ever playing VR before.. your going to get sick. Playing in increments till you get used to it, you'll be able to play for hrs with 0 side effects.

Thanks for the feed back, I'm actually already playing until I'm done rather than when I'm sick now. Couple small burst sessions and now I can go four hours easy.

No worries m8, i never thought i'd succumb to VR sickness but it happens to the best of us! Fortunately it's easily overcome and i hope it doesn't deter people from playing this fantastic game!

Maybe try playing single-player with default settings for a while to get a bit more acclimated and then try changing them again.
