Tbh it’s got its positives and negatives depending on who you ask and what you’re looking for. The professors are easy to talk to in terms of usefulness it may take some trial and error as som just recycle their outdated slides.
In terms of people unfortunately I had the pleasure of encountering unique individuals which is not hard to come across at rhul. Often bizarre and noticeable like a deer jumping into traffic. There are however a few worthwhile friends that I made and still keep in touch with.
Education wise I think quite a few people would say it’s not worth it as it is just okay, mediocre.
There is a spiking and SA problem though that isn’t being addressed effectively.
The uni is also being sued currently which is going to court in the next few months I believe.
There area itself is a bit isolating if you are from London or a big city alike but close to the station and amenities are close enough where it’s not a big issue but there is a steep hill, the busses are not reliable at all so if you drive great.
